Just received my own a couple of days ago and have to say it's great. Sturdy build quality, and seems to charge anything you throw at it. (Metaphorically, of course, don't go chucking stuff at it.)

Use code 'MPBUK' at checkout to receive discounted price.

It sounds strange but I think I actually trust Gearbest or Banggood to supply the genuine article more than eBay or Amazon. Every Xiaomi product I've ever bought from Gearbest has proven authentic when verified on Xiaomi's own website using the security code on the packaging.

I've received numerous fake items from eBay and Amazon, however, both are quick to give refunds when this happens which is not always the case with Gearbest.

Why not get something like this for less money and fulfilled by Amazon ? I mean i like Gearbest but only for 7p little silly things that i will never want to send back. I can't see this is being sent from the EU so back to the republic ?

For a start, Xiaomi are a reputable brand. Who are Kinps? Also, let's be honest, at £10 you're unlikely to want the hassle of returning anything, even to Amazon UK.

Well you are wrong- i would and do and i doubt i am alone. Straight back if any issues at all- and an immediate refund.

Well if you're buying from a brand that nobody's heard of, then that's probably a good thing that you're willing to go through the inevitable hassle!
Good price. Personally I'd prefer something with the dimensions of the original Xiaomi power banks - they're thicker but shorter and narrower. But strangely they're more expensive!

Hence why I asked about people buying these from ebay. I've no issues about being sent fakes from GB or Banggood, just the time involved and the hassle if its DOA.

Just in case you don't realise - fulfilled by Amazon just means that the product has been stored and is picked by Amazon staff, and sent to you via their distribution chain. The products are still supplied by a 3rd party, Amazon do no checking to ensure the goods are of good quality, or even that they aren't fakes.
In this case, especially with some safety factors on cheap batteries, I'd take the long wait time, and crap customer services of Gearbest for a genuine, good product from a brand with good quality products, like Xiaomi, over a non-branded battery from any old seller in the UK.

Of course, if the equivelent from Amazon was actually from Amazon, and of similar quality, then it all changes, but (for example) an Anker power bank at 10000mAh is double this price.
Received mine yesterday, charged it fully and it's charging my Oneplus 2 phone right now.

So far it's quite fast, charging the phone from 1% to 40% in 30 minutes. That's quicker than the phone charger!

It's quite small too - almost the size of a smart phone and slightly smaller in size than my Oneplus 2 phone.

I got mine for £10.80 through this tomtop deal. It's expired now but check it out it may still be there. If not, it's worth paying £11.12 for it, in my opinion.

I've purchased 2 years ago a xiaomi 10000 mah power bank and still goes on. Takes ages to charge the battery itself but it charge my phone 4 times - 2300 mah..cost me then 6.50£

Anyone know if this has pass through charging?

Have one myself, pretty sure it does.
We have both versions; the original stubby one for my daughter (2nd one as first died through overuse) and this for my son. Both excellent products but, due to purchasing Xiaomi phones with fantastic batteries, mainly used by my wife with a plug in led for reading at night.
xioami certainly producing some excellent products of late. well made, not expensive.

They have been at it for years. Probably my favourite electronics brand, nothing I bought from them has ever failed!
Reason I would go for this over most of the other power banks is because it supports quick charge. That means in phones such as the S6/S7 etc and the One Plus' the charging flies. Most that offer quick charge are still around double the price
Xiaomi everytime over an unknown brand. I'd have every confidence of the components, cells and overall design being better.

I had no problems a couple of hours ago. My order went through with the voucher using chrome on my desktop
Just did it no problem with Paypal.

Thanks OP!
Would this charge the oneplus 3? If not, any good ones about that will? Thanks
No problems with the battery pack - had it about 3+ months. Went for an off brand silicone sleeve for it - hopeless, too large and loose. But they've got a neat genuine Xiaomi brown leather pouch (their name, couldn't find it on searching with sleeve) there for £6.58 odds, and good reviews.

Won't work for me.

Bounced the code MPBUK as not available, logged in on a different device and it was accepted🤔
Just used paypal and code worked fine. Note (if registering for first time) kept bouncing me to registration when entering code even once logged in. After clicking on activation email though all worked fine. Shame it's not free shipping like Fasttech, now that really would be a stunning deal. As it is great price on a well known brand.
Ordered! thanks OP
Bought this one a couple of years ago from banggood and after a couple of months it stopped charging completely. Looked at how to return & warranty info and couldn't find any information which makes me very wary about re-purchasing the same brand.

Using the first version for over a year now, sturdy and long lasting, aluminium case made it stand out compare with other cheap plastic case. Keep in mind that tons of fake xiaomi product out there,
Bought the fatter cousin of this and it's been brilliant. Potentially there may be hit and miss batches with any of these, least that's the feeling I get from reading around these sorts of threads. Give it a go though, for the money it's worth a shot..
Ordered, many thanks OP heat added
"The Code you entered has expired"
Coupon doesn't work for me, even on a new account
Really a shame, been waiting for a deal on a Xioami Power Bank.
