Yep it's not listed as one of the countries it can ship to either. Shame as it is a bargain
cannot ship to united kingdom.
Couldnt complete transaction. Not available for shipping to UK.
It looks like you now have to select the specific one for our region, the gray one that's out of stock

Didn't complete myself sorry as only noticed the price when showing someone at work my cameras and looking for a link to send them.

Sorry guys.. I may have ordered later in day.. Just busy working at moment.. (_;)
Seems to be working for me - I was able to add two to cart and get through to checkout. But I didn't want them.
Don't buy these now, they don't work in the UK! I think v1 did, but these v2's dont
Just found the same camera else where for similar price.

These are IP locked to China.
Yeah these are no longer easy to 'fix' they have region locked the firmware and the app.
Was going to buy this sometime ago but people have been having problems getting them working. I would stay away for now.
Also there is a newer version of this camera that is no longer square in shape, can't remember the name though.
Don't do it people. Just dont!
Neither this nor the smart "webcam" work in UK now. The older v1 ones (the reset button is the type you need to press with a pin) those worked, but the firmware is being updated online and this region blocks them. The voice built in changes to English. But tells you this camera can only be used in mainland china and the camera becomes useless. The new v2 has a physical push button reset and automatically comes with the latest firmware which is region locked and doesn't work. Bang good etc know this so to get around not having to give lots of refunds, they just don't list UK as a delivery option. My original v1 is still working as I haven't updated the firmware, I purchased a new v2 3 weeks ago and doesn't work. So I purchased the oval smart webcam one. That one connected, spoke chinese and worked for 5 minutes that night automatically did an update, reset and told me in English it won't work outside China. Nice one Xiaomi.
Makes you wonder why they're region locking their cameras seeing as they're so popular outside of China.
I would guess this is due to Chinese controlling regulations.
It's been said elsewhere that many of these Chinese gadgets that use Chinese firmware and/or servers can be easily hacked by the state if they wanted to.
Oh. This again. Cold.
Oh that's just great I ordered one if these last week hasn't come yet on another thread everyone was praising it wish I hadn't bothered now what a waste of money

It will work out of the box. Just DO NOT DO THE UPDATE!
Just for reference, I haven't tried it myself yet but if you do a bit of googling you will find a thread where someone tells you how to downgrade the firmware back to the version that worked. So if you are the type of person who puts customs roms on your Android phone then I imagine flashing camera firmware will be pretty easy. I on the other hand may have to read the thread a couple of times first. Lol
Ok thanks for the advice furiousjammin I have flashed roms in the past and won't update it just wish it would work straight out of the box without all this hassle
Any idea where I can find that thread?
