Thanks, just reserved 2 Orla Kiely water bottles for which the 20% was deducted as well.
Great got two water bottles. Thanks.
I use the bell for making people on the towpatch move out of my way, because they should move even when I can go round them, am I right or what!
Who is Orla Kiely? Ah, a designer. I first thought she might be an athlete or cyclist!
Looks at her website, phew some of that stuff is not cheap and some is really naff (imo).
Now, bells at 80p is a nice price.
Like your bell! Yep, designer status now.

I do note, with interest, none of the bike stuff is featured on her website (not that I can see, but I got fed up looking at flouncy dresses etc). AND the prices! AND the strange undies!

Update - got some bells in each pattern!
Won't bother with bottle, looks naff and not really cheap is it at £2.40? I can get similar in Poundland.

Blimey, just looked on ebay and hundreds on there! Some fools paying way over the odds. Halfords on there too at £1 ea + 3.99 p/p or free C&C.

Apols poster, forgot. HAVE SOME HEAT for the bell only though.

Nice thing about Halfrauds is click and collect is just that, pay when you pick up. No rush, said I have until April 4 to pick up!
So as my sis's tyres are cracking on sidewalls on her bog standard MB, I had a look at tyres too. Down to 3 quid each from £14, plus 20% disc making them 2.40 ea - prob nothing special but at that price who's complaining? Not me!
Added these to my C&C just this minute, 11.30pm. I think the deal ends tonight. Morning will tell.

Of course not - people always get priority over bikes on paths & tracks used by both. People can walk on the right, the left, the middle, have silly young kids who dart left and right, there might be somebody disabled. None of which is 'wrong': quite simply, people on foot get priority and can walk however they like.

Cyclists have to slow down and go carefully around them, yes a bell ring gets them to move to one side but if a cyclist came up dangerously fast expecting a walker to get out of the way, the walker would be quite within their rights to shove the cyclist out of the way to avoid that danger.
Shame the 20% off seems to have expired.

Im still tempted to get the water bottle anyway.

Did I mention, I ride a Santa Cruz Bronson full pro spec, £8k worth, full FOX 'duro' clad (+goggles) and I drive there in my BMW/Audi?

I'd still shove you in the canal if you came up dangerously fast and expected me to get out of the way or else smash into me, would give me an extra smile I guess

Just don't scratch the 'Bronson' 'buddy/pal/fella' or get it muddy, I can't risk ruining the boot, because, I'm such a cheap ass tool, I won't buy a rack for my 'BMW/Audi' because it'll mess up teh lines.

heh heh

I use a well-known trail every week (mostly walking) and the dumb@sses that think bikes have priority always make me chuckle, there are also people who ring the bell as you are walking ahead with your back to them - you have left plenty of room but there might be 2 of them riding side by side - then as they get closer and you don't stand aside, ring the bell more and more frantically because you're not turning round & moving, then sadly for them they have to get into single file to go past you or even (this is really calamitous for them) have to slow down and wait for any oncoming bikes to go past first before they can pass you, you generally get a 'look' if this is so lol

And don't get me started on the cyclists who think walkers should keep to the left

Oh, you're one of 'those' I like to scream obscenities at people like you, buddy! Because it really pisses me off when you don't do what I want you to do I'm such a prick that I make it your problem! Then I go home to my fat wife, scroaty little kids, watch the football and cry into my gin 'n' tonic!
