hot! My kids are off! Nice find

Wow that is cheap, but a lot of kids have gone back by then.

Stayed in the international palms last year. The hotel is in a great location, easy for catching the iride etc....

We had to wait an hour before getting into our room so they gave us breakfast included for the duration of our stay, which was fantastic (hot and cold). Tried the evening meal one night and it wasnt that great.

Lovly clean rooms, lovely pool with a little area with turtles in that you could feed. It had a bar and a little supermarket in it.

I would happily stay here again :-)

A place for the family to eat is Cici's Pizza it is an all you can eat buffet place which has a unique welcome you have to go there to experience it. It is relatively cheap and includes unlimited pizza, pasta, starters and deserts, you can also opt for a non buffet version if you like.

Hot for family of 5! I hope to get this price next year! Can you give any advice on Disney tickets please. I have 3 children who will be aged 5, 9 and 14 and not sure which tickets would be best to suit them all. I priced the 14 day ultimate tickets for around £1400...is this the standard price or are there better deals? Many thanks xx

Hi Stacey thanks for all your hard work bringing us all your great holiday deals i am looking to go to florida in after the 10th of august for 2 weeks 3 adults 4 children do you know of any good deals around that time thanks keep up the good work Xx

holiday-comparison.tescocompare.com/ this is for 2 adults 2 children 4th may for 14 nights room only £1666.56 from birmingham, hope this helps someone

Just to add to the places to eat tip - if you're getting fed up of burgers, hotdogs, fries etc then check out Sweet Tomatoes. It's an all you can eat buffet of the healthier variety - massive salad bar, baked potatoes, soups, breads, pasta and some yummy puds. Was a godsend for us when we took our young daughter, as its so difficult to find healthy fast food out there! :-)

There is 3 main methods of purchasing tickets to Disney World

1. You can purchase tickets at the gate (most expensive method) or you can purchase them online in the united kingdom before you go (slightly cheaper). A useful thread of discounted tickets can be found here and here
2. You can purchase the tickets from what the local call "booths" these are small shops which literally look like small booths that sell unused days of tickets (if someone bought a 21 day pass and only used 10 days they will sell of the remianing 11 days) you will purchase this ticket at the fraction of the cost at the gate, they will hangle on price as some days have been used already.
3. Hotels often have a timeshare representative who is keen on selling you a timeshare in a hotel of course you don't want a holiday home in America but they want to attend there presentations, so they offer you discounted theme park tickets for attending a presentation/tour of there complex, once you have complete the viewing they will give you your discounted tickets, it is critical you don't fall into their market hard sell and stick to your motive of discounted tickets and say you are not interested in buying a timeshare

I hope that helps

That is a lovely place I have been there myself and has a very good choice

Another place which is quite popular Perkins Bakery, Olive Garden, Waffle House and ihop

Jesus, no wonder people think poorly of American food. Does no one try local food, like BBQ/seafood/Cuban?

This is really good value for money and a great location. You will spend most of your time out of your hotel room anyway.

Hi SunshineStacey I don't know if you can get them yet but I'm looking to go next year in May 6 adults 5 children?

is this ok if you dont drive, eg: getting to/from airport, themeparks, food places, etc

never mind just seen the car hire is essential part x

If you don't drive you need to stay in one of the more central hotels, a lot of the hotels on international drive offer free shuttle buses to Disney etc.

Flights are normally released about 11 months in advance, though be warned when they were released last August for this August they were extortionate, it's not always cheaper to book early on these long haul flights :-(

We went in 2012 with 3 children slightly younger than yours, we tried to do all the Disney Parks, Universal, Seaworld, Busch Gardens, Kennedy and Aquatica in 3 weeks and struggled, we did get everywhere but I don't feel that we saw much of anything, i.e. we only got to see 1 parade and 2 shows :-( I bought my tickets from Attraction Tickets Direct (best price at the time). So in short be prepared to have really long days with no days in between to relax at the pool or don't try and do too much x

looking for advice..
took a tesco compare deal into thomas cook to see if they would price match..
they wouldnt give me the time of day. Orlando for 21 days (for 2 adults/2kids and an infant) tesco was £3072 thomas cook online was £3264 in branch it was £3364 after I went home I moaned to a live chat agent who said to call the branch & say I wasnt happy. I did & the girl said she would get her regional manager to call me, no one did & the holiday sold out & the next days shot up by £200 more. I eventually got most of the deal back through complaining for £3326 still more than I should have paid. thomas cook threw in eat free child cars and £100 of car insurance.. have I been conned ?

it does include car high, when you get to your adding your options stage there are a couple of car options which are listed as £0 to choose from or you can upgrade the vehicle.

Sorry, I meant car hire insurance - that was the bit they wanted extra for, and it seemed an awful lot.
