Nice find; so many horrible reviews for that place on tripadvisor though xD Must make the Ramada EU people rather angry!

I agree, theme parks, Disney and sunshine woohoo

A car will add a huge chunk to this price and the flights are to Sanford not Orlando.Very ordinary hotel.

A slim chance yes, however they start all the Halloween events in September which makes it the best time of year to go!

Would be nice to see some more of the hire car deals to accompany these hot finds. I missed out on them when we went last year. If one comes up soon along with these holiday deals, I think I won't be able to help myself

Car Hire isn't expensive, particularly in September...expect to pay between £150-200 per week, for a reputable company. Petrol is still very cheap, compared to UK. The area is right by the Old Town, so rather than residential, it is very commercial, with lots of touristy things going on. Not the most select area, but not the worst either, and near lots of places to eat. Plus, to be fair, you want to be out and about while you are there making the best of things. Rarely spend much time in your hotel. I go two or three times a year, and I don't think this is mega cheap tbh but it isn't bad. Hotels are very reasonable anyway, it is the flights that are pricey, but with a little work you could probably match this..it depends whether you want the hassle or not.

I too was anti Sanford until last year. I am a convert to be honest. Tarmac to car in 30 minutes...brilliant. MCO I was 2 hours at immigration alone. I was really sad to find Thomas cook who I have booked with this year have changed to mco

i love Florida voted hot

Holiday autos is 20% off USA car hire tomorrow!

Good price, did the Disney & Universal parks this year, so looking for a Florida Beach Holiday for May school holidays next year, somewhere like the Gulf coast, 4 adults and 1 child, so looking for a Villa with pool, nothing on this site like that, been looking at Owners direct etc, just concerned I don't get the security of a travel agent/holiday company, anyone got any advice on good places to go/book?

voted hot for the price as it's never that cheap to get to Florida these days.

however, don't mean to be a killjoy but I would not recommend Florida in September with it being hurricane season! From late August onwards you are taking a risk that a tropical storm or something bigger heads your way from the Caribbean region (they actually start off in the mid-Atlantic and head west). It happened to us a few years ago, our return flight was just one day before Daniel landed!

Stayed here last June, not the best hotel in the world... was delayed at Manchester airport from 9.00am till 11.30pm. Finally got there and then they said they had no rooms for us and that were were going to get changed a maintenance charger as well, which we had been told that it would be included. As were were under 21 we couldn't drive and had to get the bus everywhere, only one bus that went to the parks and left at 7.30am and left at 6.30pm. Hotel was pretty grotty, aircon units leaking all over the place and the pool was tiny. It's about a 30-40 min drive away from international drive. Would definitely go back again just not stay here.

August, September and October are the months most likely for a hurricane to occur in Florida with approx 75% of the tropical storm days occurring during those months and September being the peak month, At least one named tropical storm that could evolve into a full-blown hurricane reaches land every hurricane season (June - November) but it helps that Orlando is about an hour from the Gulf and Atlantic coasts which protects it from the worse effects. In fact Walt Disney World has only shut twice since opening in the early 1970's and that was in September 1999 for hurricane Floyd and August 2004 for hurricane Charley.
