Hi all,

Just received this email from Orzly. They've got their tempered glass screen protector for the iPhone X on offer for £2.98

I've bought Orzly before and tends to be good quality.

Who spends £1000 on a phone and £2.98 on tempered glass etc etc

Hot Deal OP

I ordered this screen protector from Amazon a few days ago along with a slim case. I picked up my iPhone X today and put the screen protector on as soon as I got home. The case and screen protector give the phone excellent all round protection.

Bargain at £2.98 😊

Yup, agreed! I've purchased an extra as I had already ordered one at full price!

great find op! Thanks!

Heat added... to be fair the quality looks awesome on YouTube, link for people who want to see for themselves :

Great deal ! I ordered for my dad :-)

Absolutely brilliant deal and product!!!!!!

I installed this on my X today and found the black bezel on the screen protector is wider than the phones meaning you see slightly less screen

Doesn’t look like a clear install.

You lay out 1000 quid on a phone then you have to buy a screen protector for it. That's like spending 100 grand on a car then going to Motabitz to buy bumpers. God there are some suckers in this world.

you lay out 1000 quid on a phone, only to drop it and have to pay over 500 quid for a screen replacement rather then buying this 2.98 screen protector. God there are some dumb people in the world.

Thanks. Gone for anker one.

I ordered a switch case from them- the quality is amazing. Really well made and looks good.

This has to be the comment of the day. MODS, SEND THIS USER A HAM!

Wow, I have rattled the fanboy's cages. Surely the point is that if a screen protector is so important, then why can't Apple find room in their margins to provide one? You spend a grand on an overpriced 'phone, and the first thing you have to do is put an overlay on the screen. Do Apple really charge 500 for a replacement screen, if so that must be a good reason to avoid.

I can only think that iPhone users must be a clumsy lot of goons, or that iPhones are fragile, I have never smashed a screen, despite a number of 'phone drops.

I've also never broken a screen, however I work selling phones and I can tell you most of my shop is saying "too bad" to people walking in the shop with broken screens and no insurance/AppleCare.

Apple won't put a Screen Protector in the box, because they want you to purchase AppleCare or shell out the £280 it'll cost to get the screen fixed.

Seems like the win-win situation for the consumer is a TGSP as it's relatively cheap compared to an Insurance option and still provides reasonable protection from a drop!

They don’t charge 500 for a replacement screen. It’s less than Samsung charge for a replacement screen and they do it that day, within an hour.

Apple won’t put a glass screen protector in the box because why would they? No one else does.

It’s an option that some people will do and some people won’t. Personally I use a screen protector even on cheap devices as I like to keep my phones in perfect condition - it’s not so much to protect them from drops.

Yeah, that was my point! There is no reason for them to do so.
