It's that time of year again! Weather is looking good and Bank holiday next week so time to get out and about. The code DASH10 gives you 10% off the order, making these (already cheap) maps even cheaper.

You'd pay about £20 for a laminated one if you just wandered into an outdoors store when you're at your destination, so best to get them in advance.

Inb4 idiots saying "Cold, google maps on phone is free" (Not wanting to be on Mastermind with a specialied subject of "The Bleeding Obvious" but it's worth pointing out (again):

Paper Maps:
a) Show a much larger area in one go
b) Don't need GPS/Battery/Signal (delete as appropriate)
c) Can be spread on the floor/car bonnet, to have lots of people crowd round and argue
d) Are a work of beauty that you can get lost in.
e) Can be drawn on
f) Are always available (don't need lock codes and faffing about switching between tasks)
g) Enable you to learn how to navigate properly and interpret the landscape around you

NB. I do use Locus maps on Android as a backup, does help when you get a bit lost.

Enjoy!

This is a permanent deal that Dash4it do, like the furniture companies, everytime their sales/deals end there is a new one. Saying that though they are the cheapest place I know for maps (and with a large variety) and they deliver quickly.

Well, I needed a map, went to Dash4it, tried the code, it worked, so thought I'd share it here as a "reminder" for people.

That is a good enough reason for me - HOT

Oooh, I love maps. Ta.

Heat added as I didn't know about these, and love going walking locally. So an OS map will be great.

thanks I've bookmarked for future trips - heat added - love reliable foldable pin-upable paper maps

Great company, bought lots of maps from them before. Don't remember getting a 40% plus a 10% code at the same time so good post. Heat added.

Heat, for the record I rely heavily on google maps for my job but keep an old fashion a-z as backup, just (k.i.s.s.) keeping it simple (stupid!)

Cold as this is HotUKdeals and the maps don't cover the UK....

Perhaps you should visit the site first - Northern Ireland maps are available there too you know. And the discount code applies to all maps afaik.

I did - care to share where they are hidden?

They sell all OS (Ordnance Survey) Maps which cover the whole of UK and delivered for free in 48 hrs . Are you really several sandwiches short of a picnic ?

There are no laminated OS maps of Northern Ireland - I see the mods have removed the other posts...

I'd suggest that if you are unable to locate the correct maps of NI sat in front of your computer, then perhaps attempting to purchase said map, with a view to venturing out into the wide open countryside, might not be the best course of action open to you at this juncture.
