OS Maps 12-Month Premium Digital Subscription Box at Amazon for £20.25
Posted 22nd Nov 2020
Might be useful to some. OS Maps (App and desktop) Premium Subscription is usually around £30 from OS.
Around £10 cheaper if you buy a gift subscription from Amazon. I got this the other day when it was £17 but it has unfortunately gone up to £20 as I got round to posting it here. Still a big saving if it is of interest to you.
Tried the app for the first time yesterday and I was impressed. Better mapping around here than Viewranger OpenMaps. Although I have a friend in the lakes who prefers Viewranger around there as so many routes are not mapped on OS.
You can search for, save and share walks too, plenty of users and Premium walks on there that you can choose from.
The 3D walkthrough (desktop only) is pretty cool and the AR viewing of the hills around us in Yorkshire is great.
The process involves buying the sub from Amazon. You then go on the OS site and sign up, go to buy the £30 product, then enter the code from the gift box as a voucher code, this reduces it to zero!
My friend has been sharing his login with his dad and friend all year and says they have never had a problem. I preferred to get my own though and save my own walks etc. Hope it's useful, my first post!! Enjoy!

Other than the recent drop I fell luck wtih, this is as cheap as it gets! I know there are some Bing workarounds on other apps, but £20 is well worth saving the hassle and having the features.
