what ethnicity are you

quite high vit d content. your gp could prescribe you 2 or 3mths at a time, so only one prescription charge to you, which would be cheaper for you.

20,000iu - Wow, are you sure you need that much per capsule per day? lol

I take 30k a week because of my arthritis as I do not get exposed to the sun often.

That's a lot of D3.

Your blood work obviously shows such a dose is required but for those with healthy levels, this could result in hypervitaminosis D if not dosed correctly.

Doesn't this work out cheaper Swanson High Potency Vitamin D3 5,000IU, 250 Softgels for £5.32.
If you only need 20,000iu a week then take 4 capsules a week - Mon/Wed/Fri/Sun - Tue/Thur/Sat/Mon (every other day - think would be ideal? idk) This works out to last you 62/63 weeks... But I guess if that what was advised to be taken by your doc then you might be better going with his suggestion, maybe there's a reason he/she wanted you take this (appose to smaller quantities capsules spaced out the week?) idk again. When this batch finishes why not go see your doc again and find out if it makes a difference, that way you could potentially save some £ this way.

Actually if you prefer convenience of only having to take 1 capsule a week then this is also good.

Thats £5.32 for a damaged "open" box, its double that for a new one. Not sure I would risk it! Works out about the same at Swanson full price.
