This, Eve or Emma? There are so many on the market, it just seems impossible to keep up with all these names! I just returned the Nectar mattress after I found it too soft. Any recommendations for firm mattresses?

Thanks in advance

This is quite a firm mattress. Imo the memory foam layer needed to be thicker but that might be because I am quite heavy. It does have 100 day trial so worth checking out.

I bought the king size version off their ebay store a couple of months ago for £200 - you would never have known it was a return in any way

It is firm - my last mattress from M&S was way too firm and I bit the bullet and got this, if anything tho its still a bit to firm and much different to the Simba on display in John Lewis which I felt was too soft. So as long as you want pretty firm id recommend it as even through all the warm nights its kept me cooler than the M&S mattress did. It is true edge to edge and no sign of any use on it despite only being able to turn it rather than flip it over

I have an Otty. Its is firmer than the other bed in a box type but its still very comfortable.

We have 5 ottys in the family. It takes about a week to get used to it.
I love mine, I no longer get back pain :-).

Also the no movement transfer is exceptional.
I've had a new and refreshed ones. Couldn't tell the difference so you may save a good chunk from Otty on Ebay :-)

I think you can buy the refreshed for a little more on Ottys site along with the 100 night trial. Ask them on chat?

Sorry. Don't know much about silent nights

Dam ,I made an offer of £250 for my king size which was buy it now at £299 and thought I’d got a bargain (this was the 2000 spring version though). Excellent mattress if you want firm and the foam does mould to you so yo get good support everywhere as well. Bonus of getting a refreshed one is they are already unpacked and expanded so the memory foam smell has disappeared otherwise I’m told it takes about a week to dissipate. Delivered by a specialist mattress delivery company to the room of your choice. I believe there are some places you can check these out but you’ll need to look on the web site for that.
Ps the king size refreshed is currently just under £400 on their web site but on eBay with the 35%off it would work out at just under £200 so absolute bargain

I was considered a Dormeo Silver Deluxe, it's on the medium to soft side.
Anyone knows how it compares with Otty, Eve, etc.?

Just a note on Silent Night mattresses, they have a massive range so its worth getting a top spec. The budget range tend to be, exactly that, budget quality. The top spec are very good, my parents brought a top spec mattress in 2001 that is still decent now. it is a 1200 pocket sprung, wool and cotton topped mattress. Granted there has always been a mattress protector on it but its looking good and is comfortable. It was a top spec at the time and one side is firm support and the other is medium, my mum is a lot smaller than my dad.
