Refreshed mattresses at vastly reduced prices.

I bought one in the past and it came rolled and looking completely new, I believe they change the covers and just keep the cores.

They are quite firm but I find comfortable.

I will try and compare it to a Simba... this is a mattress and Simba was the main character in Disney’s Lion King. I do hope that clarifies things a little.

They are not that firm. They are medium to firm. Definitely not as firm as the pocket spring firm ones. But it is decent and comfortable. This is great price. Paid 300 for single just after new year with a discount code.

Refreshed??

They replace the top layer of foam, and sanitise the other layers, then put brand new cover on. We got one last year and it was like new.
I thought they say that they check it over to see if anything needs replacing and replace the cover I think they only replace internal foams if required
From the pic I thought this was a power-jockstrap.

Disappointed.

Cold.

These are excellent if you like a firm mattress, with no roll together, and are as new. They don’t come boxed and rolled as I don’t think they can recompress them, but they are delivered by a specialist mattress company sealed in plastic. Bought mine about a year ago and the best mattress I’ve had by far. Great saving from new but I have seen them cheaper on occasions.

We got the super king version over a year ago and still absolutely love it. And we are fussy b'stards.
Mattresses are an entirely subjective thing. But I like firm. She likes soft. We both like the Otty.

Otty also has a removable cover. And people we know have the Simba. It looked like it was falling apart. Or maybe they just inflicted it to more exertion...

Otty still in great shape after a year. We just try to rotate it every month or so.
Could virus live on old mattress? Human sweat and fluids for it to survive on
Single is OOS
Very uncomfortable mattress- would give me pins and needles in my arm whichever side I lay. Sent it back before the end of the trial period.

Their customer services is non-existent. My order was meant to be next day delivery. But I got my mattress 3 weeks later. Only after numerous amount of online chat. No phone number.

But the product is decent.

Ah ha, thanks for clarifying. For £239 I think it's too good to pass up.

I'll second that. I've had a superking for 2 years and love it. No complaints

I thought the same. That would have totally hidden my chipolata.
Hi All,

Does anyone know how the Otty compares to the REM-Fit 500 (specifically the Ortho Version) generally & in terms of which is the firmest of the two?

I am looking for a very firm mattress!

Many Thanks!

We've had this Otty and the Simba and the Otty was in our opinion better made and didn't sag within 100 days like the Simba did. Definitely firmer than the Simba. The Otty was not great for a side sleeper like me, but my wife (who is front or back sleeper) loved it. We have tried a number since as we could not find a mattress firm enough for my wife but soft enough for me as a side sleeper. This would have been our last resort to buy again and use a 5cm topper for me! Summary, very good quality rather firm mattress. We settled on a REM-Fit natural med firm in the end.
I bought one of these several months ago when they were down to £180 for the king size. In terms of condition, other than being unrolled it looked like new. I have a hip problem and used to wake up with it aching. Since we got this mattress I haven't had any problems.

Might have changed. I definitely remember reading when I bought ours last year that, the top layer of foam is replaced. Doesn't seem to say that on this listing.

Hi not sure about the Rem but the Otty is definitely more firm than Medium. I had to send mine back as it was far too firm for me to the point that my back was aching after 5 nights, but if firm is your thing then you will like Otty.
There is no point in rotating this mattress, look at the picture.

Should have had a box saying ‘wouldn’t buy one of these because it might be in a similar state to my own mattress’
Is this better than the Rem-Fit mattress quality?

Sounds like they have more fun than you regularly 😜
Once bought do you get an option of which date the delivery arrives? Im moving to a new place and want the mattress delivered to the my new flat.

Rotating makes sense, it's turning that wouldn't work

Rotating is turning. I think you mean that flipping it won't work.
Not in mattress terms, flipping is referred to as turning
Sorry to drag old post up...did anyone else order this deal and are STILL waiting for their bed...or is that just me?! Feel like OTTY giving me the run-around and have now said it should be delviered by mid-May???!
