wow.....I've always wanted to use my knuckle!!!!!

I've had Oukitels for the past few years, the U8 was the last upgrade I went to. They are fantastic phones spec wise, good cameras, latest android and fab displays. However, these ARE budget CHINESE phones and they only have a 6-18month lifespan. I converted my whole family to Oukitel after falling in love with the Moonbeam and not one of us has had one over a year without a very annoying glitch occurring. Another thing to consider is they are pre-loaded with their own form of spyware, this has never bothered me but my mum finds it annoying that things randomly appear. I personally still continue to use Oukitel, I can't afford much else and they're a decent phone. Just don't expect to have it for years, they're quite delicate.

I have an oukitel k6000pro fulfilled by amazon great phone for around £130. 6000 mAh battery 5.5 inch full HD screen marshmallow os.
Build quality excellent, metal body, fingerprint scanner works brilliantly. Can't find better for money.

Same here. Spyware removed and phone still going strong after 6months.

Scanned with several virus checkers found no spyware on mine

There's no spyware, people are insane. No one cares about you. Only thing that is of value to anyone is your bank card, but this phone will not steal it.

I would wipe the internal memory and replace with a custom rom. Don't forget to back up first though

ive had a oneplus one for 2 years and still very good and going strong a few glitches but you get them in every phone , i have been looking at these on gearbest and waiting for them to go cheaper , as i want a phone with a fingerprint scanner

Cheers op. Ordered

Same here. Paid around £85 I think. Didn't find any spyware. Accidentally bricked it the other day but managed to bring it back to life to fight another day. I can't see any reason why it won't last as long as any branded phone to be fair.

Fine, not spyware then, malware - because adverts definitely pop up from time to time and the U8 Tap Universe or whatever it was called had this 'Beauty app' on it that would connect back to an IP address in China and serve ads to your phone. You don't have to believe it or can bury your head in the sand over it but it did happen.

And as you know, what may seem like 'boring personal data' is actually the precursor to identity theft and data sale on the dark web.

Does this have all 4G bands?

Does this have all 4G bands?

Yes, according to the specs, it has all 5 UK ones:

800MHz - Band 20
900MHz - Band 8
1800MHz - Band 3
2100MHz - Band 1
2600MHz - Band 7

Another detailed review here, with benchmark scores, photos, etc: DeviceSpecifications

Primary camera has a glitch apparently (temporary workaround included), which they hope will be sorted with an update. Quoted from the review, in conclusion:

"Final thoughts: Outikel U13 currently retails for US$130, which is quite affordable for a smartphone with a full-metal unibody & a 5.5" FHD display. It has an excellent build, elegant looks & reasonable performance. The cameras & audio are not perfect, but are normal for a smartphone of this price class. All in all, the price-quality-ratio of this model is very good."

It defintetly does, but I'd be very dubious about durability & other issues as mishmassey mentions.

I'm not into taking a risk with these Chinese-sourced phones (with the exception of a Xiaomi possibly), & if you want a good-excellent camera in your phone, which I think you do (as you've a G2 & you've mentioned in the past), you could get the Huawei P9.

Yes, more than double the price, but with UK warranty, durability, lack of spyware & most importantly: peace of mind: Huawei P9 £229.99 at O2 Refresh

Thanks OP. Ordered!
One possible issue is that the U13 battery is officially listed as 3000mAh, whereas this review seems to indicate that it tests as only 2239mAh. http://www.majordroid.com/oukitel-u13-review/
Don't know the if the battery testing is accurate or if this is really a major issue. If Oukitel is deliberately misleading people on device specifications surely this will have an impact on brand trust in the future? Seems a short-sighted business strategy to me.
Anyhoo, I have ordered one as it still seem like a good deal. Just have to get some battery saving stuff going on (Greenify, Doze, etc, etc,).
