Been posted before (once by me...) but back on offer. Stills seems like a decent price. I know you can get it elsewhere at this price but sure this will help someone.

Good price, same as home bargains but stop using these now.

I just bought 1kg of food grade Citric Acid from ebay. Cost about £5 delivered and last 1yr.

Yeh, had a lot of people saying the same thing last time I posted. Vinegar is also very good for cleaning up rusty tools apparently.

If it's for a kettle, you can also just put a lemon in your kettle, fill it full of water and that will work too

Coke (the soft drink) also works but probably not very cost effective.

Thanks. I don't care where else you can get it at the same price, the important thing is where is the most convenient place and for me it's definitely Wilko.

love this product. good price too...... wilko is round the corner from me so will be getting some!!

got about 300 packets of these from when they were 1p in tescos.is there anything else they can be used for.

Does anybody have any advice on how to descale a Philips iron that is badly clogged up?

How would you use this? & how much would you use?. Normally like to use the oust stuff in dishwasher & washing machine + kettles etc, but would prefer a non chemical way if possible. Thanks!

Boil water in kettle then 4/5 heaped table spoons of Citric Acid. Once it's stopped fizzing, let water cool a little and reboil. Repeat steps until scale is completely removed.
