Doesn't seem like it was ever worth 300?

Bought one, thanks

Anyone know the best place to get gas??

Outback grills are notorious for the burners disintegrating

Even if we go with outbacks high prices I would say this is much better at 300
here

I would guess about 200 worth of BBQ imho

Cheap wire cooking rack rather than nice cast iron rack would suggest this is a cheapie bbq

I can confirm this. My 4 year old Outback, always kept in the garage when not in use absolutely disintegrated earlier this summer. Burners can be replaced but pretty poor quality in my view

Couldn't get one Argos but got it on eBay Argos instead. Saying delivery tues.

Good shout

Funny how the red one is £199 down to £179, yet the black is £299 down to £129, it looks like this rrp has been hiked up to make it look like a deal.

Yes same here, I've had 2, stored dry, oiled up over winter. Curiously due to some mental problem I must suffer I didn't get the message the first time mine rusted to bits. I got 3 years out of both, they both rotted around the burner area which is made from the thinnest rust accepting metal you can get. Utter junk from my experience.

Interesting comments re Outback BBQ's as I had my eye on a 4 burner at homebase for £249. What BBQ would people recommend around the £200-300 bracket?

I've had a homebase BBQ I got for about £120 (Montana 2 burner) for a few years and its actually done v well and seems fine, no rust at all, I just fancy an upgrade to a bigger BBQ with hotplate and more burners/bigger cooking area.
I always keep mine in the garage over winter and with a good quality cover in the summer.

I went for one half the size and double the price from Homebase....

Could you half bury that one in the ground if always BBQing in the same location?

Don't know yet, but any idea what difference it would make being higher? I looked at the smaller ones but. as you say £70!
