Have been looking for a decent barbecue for a while now and stumbled across this deal. I know that a few other retailers are selling this barbecue at a lower price but many are older versions of this model and this one is half grill/half griddle.
Mine is due to be delivered tomorrow and I can't wait - all I need now is the weather!

Meteor hooded gas BBQ range! Boasting 4 cast iron burners which are fired by a piezo ignition system and controlled by independent control knobs for ultimate control when cooking and grilling.

The porcelain enamelled hinged cooking hood which is finished in stunning red is fitted with a built-in thermometer for perfect cooking and baking results every time. The grill plates and griddle plates are also porcelain enamelled for hard wearing durability and easier grilling. The cooking area measures a very generous 63.5cm x 42cm, 50% grill and 50% griddle. The two side work surfaces are powder coated and are easy to wipe down, on the right hand shelf there is a cover which lifts to reveal a gas hob, very useful for preparing onions, sauces and wok cooking.

The Meteor cooking unit is mounted on an enclosed cart with useful hinged top drawer ideal for storing BBQ utensils and condiments. Fitted with 2 wheels this BBQ can easily be moved around the garden or patio but is also very stable when in position. Featuring an easy to clean two tier drip tray. This striking 4 burner gas barbecue has been built to the Outback quality you would expect and is covered by a 5 year limited warranty.

The Meteor barbecue now uses lava rock which sits in a basket under the cooking grates and above the burners which are used to cook foods in place of the flavourizer bars which have been used in previous years. Not only have they decided to go back to the lava rock they also use cast iron burners which are more durable than the previous stainless steel burners used.

I bought one of these 2 years ago. absolute rubbish. burners are corroding as they are cast iron and foster up yellow gas, the ignition now only works on the side burner, the shiny rings between the gas control knobs and the main BBQ body are rusting.
And it's an absolute **** to clean the frame where the food grills sit....
But it's up to you

As stated above this is the 2017 model so fingers crossed it is an updated/revised model. Also if it is only 2 years old yours is still under warranty. Might be worth getting in touch with them? Revoo gives it 8.5 out of 10 so, for me, it is worth a go. With barbecues I have found that 'buy cheap, buy twice' is a fair motto. My last Outback barbecue lasted 10 years so I have every faith that this one will last too - but I might be wrong...

It is a shame but they no longer seem to have the quality that they used to have. I can remember when they first came to UK and they were superb. Mainly just Chinese built tat now. "Cast iron burners superior to Stainless" utter tosh, just cost cutting. Might be alright in a dry climate, but not in UK,

Good luck then. I've also had 2 Outback units in the past that lasted years. This is the first one that hasn't, by a long way.
The only differences I can see between this one and mine are 1) the ignition knob colour, 2) the doors on the front open down instead like a normal side hinged door, 3) I have 4 locking swivel wheels and this has 2 fixed ones and 4) the grills/griddle are 50% each whereas mine is 75% grill 25% griddle.
