Outburst Golden Syrup Instant Porridge Pot - 2 for £1 (50p per unit) @ FarmFoods

Found that my local farm foods is selling instant porridge pots at 2 for a pound.

I've been enjoying them as an easy, healthy(ish) breakfast.

Cheaper than buying in bulk through amazon (~75p) or buying from ASDA (£1).

I'm assuming it's a national deal, feel free to update me on that one.

I make my own porridge to go. Get some oats and mix with dried milk powder and add sugar. Put it in a container to take to work. Just add hot water and voila. I came up with this idea after a colleague gave me a Oats So Simple pot to try and it works just the same. Minus the expense.

Will never set foot in a farmfoods again. They are rude and arrogant people who work there, or woolworths rejects.

So the offer is a quid and not 50p. Make your own, it's loads cheaper.

And you can make up new and exciting flavours like chocolate, maple syrup, all butter shortcakes crumbled in there, hobnobs, quality street.
Oh and apple pieces I suppose.

great idea @chocolategirl, I'm afraid I'm to lazy to even to that though

To be honest for 50p a unit I would be interested to know how much would be saved once you have purchased oat flakes, syrup, sugar & powedered milk. Plus you are paying for pre packaged convenience for people who work long days and are at work before most people wake up in the morning.

Hot UK deals is about finding deals, some of these comments are more suitable for money saving expert.

Good hearty breakfast

they are in home bargings for £50p, they also have a pack of 8 sashes for £1 which works out cheaper.

So its 50p just for one portion of porridge, which is well expensive considering how cheap oats are...... and as Simate said, this deal should be listed at £1 not 50p.

In my experience the sachets require adding milk and microwaving. The pots only require boiling water so they are a different product.

I've corrected the entry to £1.

Again this is a convenience product, if you want to poor water over some value branded oats go ahead but it will not taste as nice as these.

That's why they put other ingredients in it simate, hence why you cant compare it to buying a cheap bag of oats. Stop trolling!
