Cheaper at B&Q for the same kit, cold from me

No good giving B+Q as a comparison when they do not have stock.

Last time I looked, Aldi had over 400 supermarkets plus a number of distribution centres in the UK! So we all stop shopping there and the many people employed are out of work. Sorry but your comment is pathetic.

Those jobs would transfer to other UK employers, if Aldi was not here. Other firms in the UK would experience greater demand, and hence boost capacity to deal with it, so there is no net loss as your claim suggests. British firms, headquarted in the UK mostly pay corporation tax to the UK chancellor, not the Germans. Aldi probably repatriates profits back to Germany, or another country it may have its headquarters. There is your net loss, in taxable receipts. How you going to get it back to UK?

Putting aside the xenophobic rants (above). I'm not sure that an exposed self-cutting connection is a good idea for outdoor use. Over the seasons it will respond to changing temperatures and possible freezing by expanding / contracting and eventually will leak. At least install an isolating valve before this tap, so y9ou can make repairs without having to turn the mains water off.

I will when " UK Retailers " provide the same quality / value / cleanliness that Aldi do.

How do these get fitted, roughly, as hopeless at DIY? The B&Q one states ease of fitting easy, so it's a good start.

Thank you

Enfield does so does Northampton which I can use both.

Have not checked others as these are where I use.
