What reviews are you reading because they don't sound great. "heavily flawed and loads of bugs".
I look on utube and a lot of reviews in seen have been good. I'll listen to proper rpg gamers over ign anyday.

Has a 2 player experience it can be fun, If you looking for a solo RPG so much better on market than this.
Lot of feature in game like cold, diseases, burnt health, burnt stamina are extremely annoying and will take a lot to get used to them and not just rage quit, but once you get over those mechanics it can be fun.
Yeah there are a few bugs and it is a little flawed but that doesn’t stop it from being an interesting and fun game. However it can be a little tough to come to terms with at the start. It’s not to be played in an arcade fashion and you need to be careful not to rush into any combat without being fully prepared. Interesting death mechanic whereby rather than permadeath, you awake somewhere within the game having been rescued or captured by benevolent or malevolent parties but taking a loss on equipment and gold.
Overall an enjoyable experience despite some rather harsh reviews. But one for RPG fans rather than casual gamers.

Its not a bad game by any standards, yet wouldn't recommend as an introduction to the genre.
Is a great game. Lay out and usability however the bugs are annoying in some
Places & hard game when you start out but once you establish yourself its a decent experience. Also one of a few games with split screen capabilities which was one of my main buying points.
