Outwell Bear Lake 6 Tent £528.45 @ Yeomans Outdoors

A hugely comfortable 6 berth tent that is easy to set up and has a zip-out groundsheet in the very large living area. The 4+2 person inners and living space have standing height throughout. The alloy pole system creates a very stable tent along with numerous guying points ensures a trouble free camping trip.

I own this tent, the 2007 model. Please read the reviews of this tent as they are all very good. I know that this is a lot of money for a tent, I thought that when I paid £540 for mine it is worth the money. The polycotton fabric is excellent and the zipped in groundsheet makes the tent draught free. In my opinion this is one of the best on the market.

I have notice that some retailers are now selling the 2009 model for the rrp of £899 and explained that there are large price rises, maybe due to the slip in stering??

Either way camping holidays are the way forward for the family!!!

No problem. FYI if you right hand click on the image on the website and look for properties you will see the location of the image file. Just paste it into the field as you post the deal or as I have done in another posting using the icon second from the right that looks loke a mountain range

good price for an outwell tent

I've been looking at a ]Outwell Montana 6 which is quite a bit cheaper then this and on the face of it looks just as good. Is this one a lot better? At the extra price I could get a large ]front extension and possibly carpet for the Montana.

Yes, this is a lot better. It's the material that makes the difference, its a lot more stable and I hope will last a lot longer. You may be best seeing one in the flesh, you will be impressed. The Montana is also a good tent but this is just of a higher quality. The downside is that it is heavy due to the material. You need plenty of space in the estate / MPV.

Hope this helps.

Also have you seen the prices of the BL6 elsewhere!!! Up to £899.:)

This is an excellent tent, we have the latest model 4 man version but only paid £350 for it..this seems a lot for an extra metre at the base (no difference in height or length.

Its a good price but these do pop up every now and then for silly clearance prices - as low as £250. Think people will vote this cold not realising its a tent that will last more than 5 minutes like most.

I dont know why this has been voted cold. For any serious campers this tent is perfect and will last years and is at an excellent price. Although they do seem to be out of stock now.
