If you don't know, Go Outdoors price match (less 10%) if you see a product they stock sold cheaper anywhere else (online or in store) and in stock, within the UK.
As Yeomansoutdoors.co.uk are doing a deal on this tent for a bargain of a price, £379.99, tell Go Outdoors and you can pick this tent up for £341.99. (currently on with them for £499.99.)
I don't expect this to be valid for much longer, Go will probably market the tent the same price as Yeomans soon.

Go Outdoors price match on all products they stock. If you find your item cheaper elsewhere (online or in a store-UK only) and the item is in stock , then ring Go Outdoors customer service team, give them the details and if all agreeable they price match and reduce it by 10% and send you an email with the price you can pay for your item (valid for 7 days ).

How do Outwell compare to Sunncamp anyone?

I have always bought Sunncamp in the past and found the build quality excellent.

outwell for me have the best tents on the market just take a look on youtube etc.... love the wolf lake 7 :-) (life time gaurentee as well)

Outwell gets my vote on quality, feels more durable and has chunkier poles and zips.

I biasted as we have the Outwell Hartford XL, plenty of room and the bedrooms are on each side of the tent so you can have a quicky without waking the kids.

cheaper currently at millets £300 pound however go outdoors wont price match due to slightly different colour

Havn't recieved it yet but i have just got the Gelert horizon 10,(£239).... Just seen the video for the outwell I could be dissapointed with the Gelert ??? That tent looks fantastic!!!, We will see tommorrow when i recieve it hope i'm not dissapointed......

Bobby20090- that tent you say is on with Millets sounds like it is the other 'Montana 6' deluxe and not the 6P (premium) so no, Go Outdoors will not match as it is a different design.

ah ok thanks hayleyc just wandering what the actual difference was as they look the same thanks

Bobby20090 - The difference between the outwell 'Montana 6'Deluxe & 'Montana 6P' is the 6P has:
more windows at the front of the tent in a panoramic curved design
Different colour-6P is moss green and the 6 Deluxe is mocha
Has 5000 hh ( compared to 4000 on the 6 deluxe) this is the hydrostatic head ( the higher the rating the more watt proof the material)
That is the key differences

I do like this tent but its VERY HEAVY with the metal poles so bare this in mind when buying

I understand your concern about the weight- I was too. But, on weighing it up against say the Outwell Cleveland 5 (which is all fibre-glass poles and all in 1 bag) the heavier poles won it for me- will always be transported in the car so no great worry and the tent will be slightly more solid and poles will be less prone to break. The new Montana 6p 2012 version has a new designed carrier bag with wheels which makes it a little easier.

Richardhopkins1 that is the Montana 6 (not 6P) and if that one at Yeoman is the 2012 edition ( it doesn't say online) then yes, Go should price match ( + 10% extra) as Go Outdoors have the 2012 Monana 6 for £499 which you would then get for £269.99

What's the main difference then? is it the 4 + 2 + 2 +2 sleeping pattern?

Original Poster

If you revert to my post above I have outlined the key differences that I noticed. Sleeping is same , 2 bedrooms - fitting 3 in each.

I'm looking at starting camping with my young family (3 kids aged 2,5 and 7) and am torn between the Montana 6 (package at Yeomans including carpet and footprint for £392.98) or going for the Montana 6P.

Are prices likely to drop a bit more as someone mentioned previously after August bank holiday?

Just discovered Yeomans YEOAFF10 10% discount code gives you the same price of £341.99 now for the Montana 6P, plus 10% off anything else you need.
