I agree, bought it a few weeks ago actually and does exactly what it says on the tin!

Fab for homemade or frozen pizza too! Hot!

Great product, got my mine from 99p store. Heat.

These are really handy, great for oven chips and pizzas etc, for when you don't feel like cooking so are having a "chav meal" night

I use mine all the time brilliant saves turning things over for a start.

When it's come from Iceland for starters I believe your highness.

ive bought a few of these from there they're great! i use it for pizza, chips and garlic bread! baking trays always made the chips go soggy at the bottom! heat added! pound land and 99p shops seriously sell all the best stuff!

I Must be a chav Icelands frozen pizzas are great, i once paid £11.00 for a razor blade thin chicken tikka pizza from domino's,more meat on one chicken tikka wing rubbish,i thought they were supposed to be good but they're worserer than pizza butt, also Icelands indian curries are great too £1.50 for a curry or £2.00 for a posh one but don't buy the balti ones in the black bowl they're fowl they're the proper chav ones, better than most of these rubbish takeaways right i'm off then where are the lonsdale, ben shermen & bench offers oh and i need a track suit as well oh and the mesh tray is smashing hot hot hot

People turn their chips over to cook? Every oven I have ever used has a "top + bottom" heat option anyway and cooks them fine :P

For a quid though....

Wont any oil just drip through the bottom of this and onto the oven?

On the nights you don't want to cook healthy food, when you have fish fingers and chips, me and the wife call them our "chav meal" nights, christ some people on here have no sense of humour...soooo touchy.

Too right, some people need to lighten up a bit. Was probably a chav so touched a nerve.

My 'chav' meal is Findus minced beef and onion crispy pancake on a butty or a Greggs steak slice in a butty with Birds Eye potato waffles cooked in the toaster on the side just to add that touch of class. Now I'm hungry.

Weird, since being old enough to cook myself I've lived in 7 different places with 7 different ovens and none of them has had that option!

Our oven has a top and bottom heat option and never cooks them fine on a baking tray without turning, hence why these mesh trays come in handy, regardless of the heat option the base of the chips are never going to crisp up not being allowed to "breathe" on top of a metal baking tray.

er......if that really is a problem (and I have to confess I've never experienced Iceland's oven chips) then why not just put the tray you would have used onto the shelf below?

Precisely, thats what we do if we are heating up a Asda Deli Pizza in case any cheese from it leaks through, as for oven chips they are only coated in oil, I doubt any brand of oven chips you would get drips from, just some residue on the mesh tray which you just wash as normal in your sink.

I think that went straight over your head. ;-)

Garlic Bread - it's the future!

My poundland never has half of the deals posted here!

I have one of these and it is crap, the chips slide off it when you get it out the oven,i use a flat tray now, chips don#t slide off,for £1.00 you expect crap quality.

Do you scoop up the sides when you take it out the oven, or are you overloading the mesh so that chips are spilling off it anyway?!
