This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:

Travelodge are reopening with a decent sale with over 1m rooms costing < £29. Please note you can only book for stays from the 4th July. I've had a quick look through and there seems to be some very cheap rates for stays in July, August and September (even for weeknight stays). For example all central Manchester hotels are just £24.99 on Monday 9th August. You can also get very cheap rates for many other locations such as Bath (Central) which is just £24.99 on the 12th, 19th & 26th July.

Bournemouth is a good place to visit, PM me we could all meet up for a drink (observing social distancing)
Never had an issue with a travelodge room, ever. They are basic but always been clean and had what I needed.
They double book rooms on the assumption people won't turn up despite already having paid. If you turn up after 9pm, it is likely that your room will have been given to someone else! I would never use Travelodge again!

Covent Garden is £52 per night over the August Bank holiday! Amazing deal.

I think I would rather sleep in a room

So do airlines, rail companies etc etc....

I use one of the Manchester hotels every other week, always get there after 9 due to work and never have any issues......

Hot deal btw!

But if you've paid - then if you turn up don't they have an obligation to put you up in an equivalent quality room or better?

Better at Travelodge? You'd be lucky to get a room that doesn't stink of vomit.

When I was 15 I got a Saturday job in a large hotel in the laundry. There was a woman who lived there for 9 months of the year. She then spend the other 3 months on holidays around the world.

Awesome idea, you will eventually be like the Major in Fawlty Towers.

GOOD TO SEE TRAVEL DEALS COMING BACK!
None, other than you cannot stay in the same room for more than 28 days (not quite squatters rights) it's a headache for the hotel if you become 'difficult'.

Nothing wrong with any of the Travelodges I've stayed in. Heat.

Parking is an issue at this Travelodge the car park has limited space and on street parking is near impossible and very restricted.and be mindful if Bournemouth was like it was a few weeks ago swamped then you may have very long waits for food, drink, toilets, shops etc.

I usually turn up after midnight at Travelodges and never had a problem.
Great deal, heated. Can see some comments slating Travelodge, while I agree these apply to some hotels you cannot tar all of them with the same brush. I've been to some very clean Travelodges as well as the bargain basement types with fag ends swept under the bed, dodgy looking stains on bedsheets, staff with a devil-may-care attitude etc.

Everything depends on the Manager of the hotel, find one with a proactive person, willing to deliver good CS, hiring the right people, motivating their team well etc. and you'll find the rooms are clean, service is decent and you get value for money. Attitudes and work practices percolate from the top.
can't see them going bust but this article might be of intrest before booking. companyrescue.co.uk/gui…14/
Great deal, booked a couple of nights. Thank you!

Same, group of us checked in at 2am recently and all fine
ditto, basic but everything you need, better than paying a lot more and getting a worse room, which I have done with best western and village hotels at least you get what you are expecting and are not disappointed ,plus quite a few are central to city central centres eg york, london ,manchester and leeds where you normally pay a lot more for overnight accomodation
Manchester is the worst. They have laundry lorry turn up at 3am every other day, load noisy metal trollies into back of van for 20mins from door at the rear of the hotel

They just issue you a refund and send you on your way, there's not obligation to give you an alternative room as long as they refund you. If you could be bothered to take them to court you'd probably get some compensation.

Even if they do go bust, you would be able to get your money back if you pay by credit card.
Stay at home. Out of towners wont be welcome anywhere. The virus hasn't gone anywhere.
So booked a room for mid July in Liverpool with a great rate. Just had an email, cancelling the booking.

Looking at other hotels that are open in the area, they want twice the price.
Oh come on, need the Wales hotels!
Thanks Travelodge.all we need down here in Bournemouth

Totally agree with you and llama. The only issues I have ever had are other people being very noisy on the lash at the weekend at a city centre place like Leeds or Plymouth for example.

Yeah I’m sure local shops and businesses that are open and struggling to survive will be really angry at people coming in from other places to buy their goods and services.

Travelodge don't vomit in them...people do
Anyone find any general cheap dates? Looking at Berwick or Scarborough for 6 nights but have been unlucky so far.

Ta.

Exactly..and it stinks of vomit.
Anyone know how to do a search to bring up all the available £29 rooms?
Should get even cheaper now with the VAT cut!
