Good deal. Very old books.

They don't have the latest Jordan , these are a bit low brow for me ! Good find .

might take a look.

Great offer. No need to register. Just click on "download free eBook pdf" Fast download speeds. File sizes and the quality of the reproductions varies a lot.

risk free = no paper cuts?

For a further 30,000 free books check out ]Project Gutenberg.
Again mostly old stuff but there a lot of classics in there Homer, Dante, Dickens, Bronte etc.

Thank you

So are these all so called Orphan works???

Thats where a large "charitable" organisation republishes your work and doesnt give you Royalties because they "try really very hard" to find out who owns copyright before they start making money (or not) out of them.... I think if you arent a large "chartiable" organisation its called piracy..

see here on the register for more theregister.co.uk/201…ng/

Not necessarily

Most of these will simply be out of copyright which in the UK is 70 years after the death of the author or 70 years after publication if the author is unknown

I think orphan refers to works within the 70 years but owner of the copyright is unknown or not established so any income must be ringfenced ( bit like dormant bank accounts )

A lot of good books to read. Pity the free ones are in PDF, thought I'd found a free source of ePub books.

Books should be treated as books, why read it on a computer..
