The website is taking some hit already - a certain small upstart deal site called HUKD got something to do with it, you reckon

Gets a bit of a slamming but I found it good gory fun. Different in many ways to the original but I enjoyed it

Bad, just bad. The original is miles better.
Stupid question but if I get a bluray, can I play it on my PS4 and will it be better quality than Netflix?

Yep, invented by Sony! Physical PS4 games are Blu-ray (as were PS3). Better quality than Netflix, especially the audio
Some decent 3d films there.
Woohoo, been waiting on a good deal for Rise Of The Foot Soldier 4

There's loads of films here that aren't on Netflix!
Kinda amazed people still pay for films

It's not so much the movie itself. It's the idea of owning a tangible version of it and one that can't just be deleted from a cloud you don't own or be held under an account that could end up hacked or corrupted. There is still a mass of physical media collectors, myself included.

I watch most films in 3D on a 100" projector screen. I can't do that with Netflix

Personally I have a mixture of streaming and physical, streaming for ease and physical 4k bluray to get the best quality, when I really want to watch something properly.

Bluray is an upgrade on Netflix streaming. Better picture & audio, plus most blurays have a few hours of extra content. Also, with bluray you're not reliant on an Internet connection that can go down at the most inconvenient time(especially in the UK ).

To be fair, it doesn't look like any of the bluerays in this sale here are 4k, HDR or Dolby Atmos. Netflix does provide those formats for some of their catalogue, even if they have decided to temporarily disable it while their network struggles under the current high load.
