don't even step over the door. we're on our 2nd couch from these, it's a pile of rubbish and they jump on you the minute you walk in and are reluctant to let you leave until you buy. or at least the Preston branch is!

do not buy from these, bought a sofa they delivered and scratched my new floor that had been down a week. the cushions were ripped, the legs were cracked and staples were hanging out the underlay and the seat was dipping in tge corner. went to the shop several times and spoke to the manager who promissed me a brand new sofa. when I called for the delivery date of my sofa 2 weeks later was told that a new sofa hadnt been ordered and I wasn't going to get one. contacted the head office and they had the same attitude £1400 from a sofa specialist is all I can say!

I would get in while you can, not very often these guys have a sale lol

you have rights you know , please don't leave it that. Document and photograph your evidence , then present your complaint properly.
Forget telephone calls from now on , they aren't going to help you.

Money claim online is easy and straight forward should you not get a positive resolution within a reasonable time frame , I would suggest 14 days is ample time for them to review your claim and come up with a resolution.

​the sofa was delivered by a white van man employed by scs. didnt realise the damage until they had left called the store 10 mins after they left and they would not have the sofa back. they just want the sake, there is no after sales advice
they sent someone to replace the feet but the man came with nothing to replave them with so just gave up

do you work for them ?. for the love of god, i hope you got overtime for your time posting the deal

Harveys are the only company I would use! I waited 15 weeks for a sofa to arrive from DFS! Cancelled it after 4 months of waiting and went to Harveys. Never bought from SCS - their adverts and annoying sales staff were enough to put me off!

To anyone who's received rubbish from this company, don't just sit back and accept bad customer service - you have rights!

To be fair I've had a couple of carpets from SCS ( not to be confused with DFS ) and the quality of the carpets along with delivery and fitting was fine.

And Harvey's are amazing as well, plenty of bad reviews and someone at work had 6 yes 6 dining tables and chairs sent out and each one damaged took them months and months to get the money back and each I've they asked for it they got another damaged lot sent out.

Had the opposite from SCS Sunderland when we complained about ours, sent a bloke out who resolved an issue dispute it in his opinion not being an issue.

Similar service from DFS when one of the cushions was blatantly under weight.

Its highly likely the OP works in Marketing for DFS. Hopefully after decades of insulting the intelligence of the market with these ridiculous non-offers the penny might eventually drop that its the wrong tactic.

if you took their interest free option, credit company should offer to help resolve matter and take case up for you

scs was on 'The Sheriff's Are Coming' this morning. woman with a duff couch ended up taking them to court and winning
