Inspired by Chanchi's excellent find with Legal and General, I spotted Sun Life are doing a £100 gift card for their over 50+ plan after the third payment. Allegedly can be had from as little as £3.90 a month so should be another easy earner if you cancel after receiving the gift card. Combine both deals and you could have £175 in gift cards for as little as £30!

Unfortunately only available to the old gits, sorry over 50s. Gutted... Application needs to be done by 30th November.

The terms state they deserve the right not to honour the gift card for those who have taken a policy before with SunLife and cancelled.

Why 4 months to get the gift voucher?

Edit:

Ah, the card comes after the 3rd payment.

Anyone one know if you can do via quidco?

Wife and myself did this about 3 months ago, was a £75 voucher then, voucher was sent out after 1 payment of £5 each, then wrote to cancel and got a quick reply with the cancellation off them.

yes, two different companies.

I have a policy with Sun Life and as soon as I took the policy out I got the phone call trying to sell me home insurance, however she did also explain to me that within around fifteen days of my FIRST payment, my £100 gift card would be sent out. If thats the case then its due in the next couple of weeks. Im not too bothered either way as I dont intend to cancel.

Not in the T&Cs

Thanks for posting

Anything stopping doing a separate application for the Mrs under the same postcode for two vouchers?

this offer is always in the Sunday papers, along with a free pen for making an enquiry.

Could both couple sign up to this offer to get 2 x £100 vouchers??? or is it only one person???

back when the site started there was the best deal many on here ever got, my memory is going a little but its one that always stands out £100 cash back from post office for life insurance and £150 back from quidco. Both paid out for less than a fiver and we both took it out best cash spent deal ever

Thank you. I've decided to take this plan out.

You just lose the premiums you've paid up until the cancellation.

Is it OK to have more than one life insurance policy with two different companies at once?

I'll have it if you don't quite make it

Cancel any time in 30 days or by writing to them after 30 days. You’ll lose all premiums you have paid.

Also
“If you have chosen a welcome gift, it will be sent to you around one month from the day you pay your first premium. Because the first month’s premium is free, this may be two months into your policy.”

Just waiting for these to be sold on eBay

Of course. Posting on here they will now have an influx of 100,000 ‘over 50s’ signing up for their £100 vouchers.
Then review all new sign ups. Then call back a handful for verification. Then cancel all suspect policies.

Need to wait 22 years for this..future hot from me :))

I signed up beginning of October for this, and I’m pretty sure it was after 1st payment, bloody hope so, my 1st payment was 1/11 so I should be getting my £100 argos voucher this month, will be gutted if I have to wait another 2 month now

now we're talking...

Just jumped on the bandwagon- this was on the final confirmation screen .....

You can keep your gift cards.. I'll hold on to being under 50 thanks
