This looks like a very well priced jacket with elbow and shoulder armour with a range of colours and sizes are available, also has removable thermal liner. I've never seen a textile jacket priced under £40.

I'm not sure how "Bone Dry" this jacket is, most gear does struggle at 70mph in the driving rain, but as I have a good waterproof for the bike this should be great for most weathers

FEATURES

CE Approved armour - The Bone Dry Jacket features CE Approved armour on the elbows and shoulders
Back Protector ready - The jacket has been engineered to include a back protector pocket as standard
Removable thermal lining - Remove your thermal layer quickly and easily
Fully adjustable waist - Simple Velcro straps make adjusting the jacket as easy as possible, even whilst wearing gloves
Upper arm taper straps - Pull the bulkier part of the jacket in without any hassle
Elasticated cuffs - Ensure you get the fit you want with these ergonomically designed wrist fixtures
Reflective piping - Fixed to the chest for maximum visibility
Large frontal pockets - Two pockets to the front of the jacket with ample storage room for any rider

BENEFITS

Maximum safety - The CE Approved armour is a huge safety advantage for any rider, potentially saving your life in the unlikely event of a crash
Optional added safety extras - Sold seperately, the Bone Dry Jacket is compatible with various back protectors should you want to increase your level of protection
Stay warm, or cool - The fully removable thermal lining will allow you to stay warm during colder months but can be quickly and easily taken out of the jacket during the summer
Change your waist - A simple waist adjustmet system has been developed so you can have the jacket fitted to the contours of your body, even whilst wearing gloves
Reduce bulkiness - Traditionally one of the bulkier parts of motorcycle clothing, the upper arm area can be easily tapered to your needs, making your time in the saddle much more comfortable
Adjust your cuffs - Perfect for letting more air in during the summer or keeping it out in winter, the cuffs can be adjusted to fit tightly around your waist or hang loosely; adding to the versatile nature of the jacket
Be safe, be seen - The reflective piping goes hand in hand with the CE Approved armour, ensuring you're as safe as possible at all times
Store your stuff - Ideal for lots of personal possessions on longer rides, or simply just a mobile phone when nipping out somewhere, the large front pockets provide plenty of storage room for all riders

Nice jacket. For that price I think it would be OK as a general purpose jacket and for walking on those cold, wet and windy days we never have in this country.... (_;)

Lots more good deals on the Ghost Bike page.

Can anyone recommend any good waterproof/warm motorbike boots under £120? I'm considering the Held Argon from Get Geared currently as mine have started leaking (not surprising in this weather!).

I've been wearing TCX X-Five boots since November, riding every day in all weather. They are warm and dry.
