These are good, have them on my 2 motorbikes, be sure to hard wire them in and not direct to battery as they will drain your battery fast

How do you hard wire them in?
Either through an accessory socket or on the ignition/ headlight etc

It's only 40 quid, well worth it in the long run

Fine I ordered them, I want to see what they do.... but if they're like heated seats, I will hate the feeling.

Have you ever ridden any distance in cold weather ? After 50 miles below about 5C your hands will be painfully cold, regardless what gloves you have (except for heated ones, of course).

Also, since 'cold hands are slow hands', this is as much about safety as comfort.
Strange never invented anything like this for a mountain bike I've rode in all weather's freezing my tits off over 50 miles a week gloves soaking wet I thing this takes the fun out of not owning a car

The difference is the wind chill - a 60mph airflow makes a big difference.

You can get heated cycling gloves, though (eg. Sealskinz) and the safety aspect still applies even at slower speeds.
Well worth £40. I've had a set for the past 18 months. It's suprising how cold your hands get this time of year, let alone in Winter...and the 'cold hands are slow hands' quote is definitely true.
I have a set of these on my scooter. Well worth the cost.. will last longer than a pair of gloves when used daily. I been using then for 2.5 years and still going.
