I get there are cheaper alternatives but this peeler is the dogs boll***s.
It’s beautifully made, comfortable and peels perfectly. We’ve had one for years and it’s as good now as the day we bought it. The same applies to the OXO can opener.
If I had the choice again, there’s no doubt I’d pay that little bit more.
Good post and I’d buy one but as above, mines still perfect.

I brought an Oxo pan set recently and they're outstanding. They're in my 'kirkland signature' tier of trusted brands. Great stuff

Agree with the others, best peeler I've used. As good today as when brought years ago. Dishwasher hasn't even affected it.

Bought one 6 years ago, still going strong! Ordering a second because I don't know how they can afford to make them for this price

These are really good. Had ours for 32 years and still going strong. I just hope it's as well made now as it was then!

I'm curious, what are the benefits of the swivel version over this 'Y' version?
    b1g1an's avatar
    b1g1an
Purely down to personal preference, personally I don't like 'Y' ones, really awkward to use compared to the traditional version and the potato eyer is also hopeless. Blade is excellent and the same on both.

Good peeler, I've had mine for years and has been a solid performer (not used every week though).
It has a really comfortable to hold grip that doesn't slip too.

This really is a great peeler, I've had mine for a few years now and whenever I use a different one they feel rubbish compared to this.
All of the OXO stuff is great to be honest, we have loads of it
