PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

The Oswald Maximum Security Prison has opened an experimental new ward reserved for especially dangerous criminals. This unit, Emerald City, focuses on rehabilitation, but the world inside is even more corrupt and violent than the mean streets where these inmates come from. Inside the walls there are also two sets of rules, those laid down by the warden and those understood by the racially divided prisoners.

This HBO series, full of gritty and violent imagery, deftly handles some sensitive issues of the American justice system. This collection gathers together all the six seasons of the show, which has proved to be one of the most popular and long-running dramas in HBO's history.

As much as I like The Wire I think it tries too hard sometimes and I don't like Dominic West! Top three for me (in no particular order) would be Oz, The Sopranos and Da Ali G Show.

Its nowhere near as well-made but I'm really enjoying Third Watch atm too..

first couple of series were amazing, got really poor near the end though.

Be warned - this series will not be everyones cup of team - very violent etc

Just finished it yesterday, well worth watching, probably in my top 5 because of the chemistry between Beecher and Schillinger, lot of full frontal male nudity though lol

Fair point.

one of the best 18+ shows ever

superb deal

Good show. Not easy to watch though.

easily one of the best shows on the planet!! Finished watching a while ago and i think i might start it again!!

Season 4 is a double length one and particularly good. It features more big names including Method Man from the Wu Tang Clan.

Season 3, 5 and 6 are pants.

Season 1 and 2 are ok. Be prepared for plot inconsistencies- (spoiler) I remember Warden Glynn saying they found Johnny Post with his dick in his mouth and the very next episode someone posts it Adebisi. It's almost as though it was filmed purely for the shock quality. Which it does have in abundance.

Sorry man. That's quite some jump in price too. £38 used at CEX?

Ordered mine on the 24th of last month and have heard nothing since. The status has been permanently stating "processing order" since I ordered.
Have written to Sainsburys but again, nothing.
Has anybody who ordered this received theirs yet?
