As above, decent price for the set.

Just seen Homebase are doing a half price promotion on the 2Ah & 4Ah battery pack with charger normally £105 down to £52.50 when bought with any Ozito power bare power tool.

These tools are identical to Einhell available from Homebase, Wickes, Toolstation & Amazon.

Quite a few bare tools to go at depending on what you need...

For battery options might as well get the 3ah battery and charger from toolstation twice then you’ve got an extra charger.

Except they don’t have bare tools anywhere near close as those at Homebase.

So for the tool and battery pack combined Homebase is the place to go.

I wouldn’t disagree as such. All depends on how bothered someone is to save a bit of money. I bought einhell batteries and chargers from wickes originally and then have bought a few of the cheap Ozito tools from homebase

I wasn’t criticising, I was just pointing out you can get two compatible batteries and two chargers for a little bit less. Isn’t that the whole point of the site. Yours is still a good deal, it’s just there’s another option for people.
Great deal. And I find the 'discussion' of deals on this site very useful - always interesting to hear different suggestions.

If I hadn't bought an excellent impact driver (my favourite tool!) from Lidl I would be buying the Ozito one for £30.

HOWEVER, when I look at the Homebase site it is showing the batteries at the full price, not half price, even if I reserve a tool first. So I guess you have to go into the store, which is what it says in small writing on the little picture, and that it is valid until 3 July..

Thanks, bought it today in Homebase, but thinking of return it.
On the website, it is stated max torque 55Nm (brushless hammer drill) but in fact the drill is only 40Nm.
This is very significant difference.
DeWalt brushed drill is 42Nm...

Strange that - have they given you the correct drill.

Model number should be PXBHS-100U - if that’s not on the box they’ve given you the wrong drill.

Strange that as that model is quoted as having the higher torque on different websites?

Looks alright although I wouldn't trust the reviews being an unknown brand on amazon.

Are you planning on adding in any more tools or do you want only a combi drill?

Reason is some people make the mistake of buying say a combi drill for example cos it's on offer but then find they are stuck or limited on bare tools with the batteries not interchangeable with different brands

No probs.

A few brand recommendations are

Einhell - compatible with Ozito from homebase)

Parkside ( Lidl) seasonal really but tools are good enough quality and prices are good.

WORX I'm led to believe the batterys on this brand are interchangeable with Guild ( argos)
& Erbauer & titan range from screwfix although need to check the Erbauer ones as screwfix have introduced a new range.

Higher end tools are makita & dewalt but these can get expensive and like the bosch batteries aren't compatible with each other. .

Pain in the butt really should be a one battery fits all manufacturers but the chances of that happening a zilch
