You're a bit late its raining now
Try Calypso Once a Day ,only £5.99 at Aldi ( in store and online) for 200ml. Been using it for a few years, works a treat and never get sun burn.

It does work but be careful as it can stain light coloured clothes by the end of the day
Someone posted it the other day was only £7.46 then

Wasn't that 100ml and factor 20 only?

Yes me too, just ordered my supply online from Aldi with free delivery over £20. I find this doesn't stain your clothes like P20 does, but I'm sure they have made the formula more 'greasy' than it was originally. Great price for P20 nevertheless.

Is this not the Pro version?
I remember the old P20 putting horrible brown marks all over your towels, I'll resist putting a more graphic description. Don't know if they have improved it since.
Trashes white t shirts.. avoid it like the plague.

I used that once a day...and got sun burned. Although it was 2-3 years ago, so they might have improved their formula by now.

Perhaps you bought too low factor? we've been using it longer than that and never burned even in the tropics.

I use it also (calypso) with no issues
I should also add I have very sensitive skin and some sun screens, even the top brands, bring me out in a rash. I don't have any problems with Calypso. Seems a bit alien when you first use it, more like alcohol gel than sun screen, but it just works.

did you use it once a day before going out into the sun... or after?

Can I ask a question? I bought a large bottle of Soltan SPF 50 / UVA 5 star from Boots for around £4. I bought the same last year, and it seems very good. Does P20 work much better?

You put it on in the morning around 30 mins before you go out - same for Calyso too

Or alternatively you could not wear a white t-shirt, how sensible is that!!
Not really a deal, it's this price in savers all the time, although it is by far the cheapest price around, I've used this for about 15 years after my gp recommended it, read the instructions properly and its brilliant, it will stain white clothes but doesn't leave brown marks anymore, and as far as I'm aware calypso is 6 hours protection, this is 10. Just saying....
The product has been at this price in savers for some time (18 months or more).

No where on the calypso box or on their website does it give a uva rating, only info they say is that is passed the EU testing, 1 star passes EU testing, whilst it’s much cheaper than P20 which we as a family have used for years, I wouldn’t personally risk it as 2 of my brood have seriously sensitive skin and suffer from prickly heat and P20 so far has been the only lotion that stops it from appearing.
P20 is also this price in Costco too
If you put it on before swimming costumes or clothes and leave to fully dry prior to putting vlothes on it reduces any marks

It actually says in the FAQ section of Calyso website regarding UVA ' There are two types of ultraviolet radiation which can harm our skin – UVA and UVB. Only UVB causes burning, but both types damage our skin, so good sunscreens should protect against both. However, SPF only measures UVB protection, so you have to check to make sure your sunscreen offers UVA protection too. There are lots of different UVA measuring systems around the world. We use the European standard – look for the letters UVA inside a circle. This symbol means that a product meets the EU-recommended level of UVA protection.'
I take this to mean it meets theEU required level of UVA protection not the minimum. I don't think they'd get away with recommending products for children these days without them being suitable.

If it met any higher, you’d think they’d have it on the product though seeing as that’s what you’re told to look out for when choosing sun protection.

I think that's what the 'There are lots of different UVA measuring systems around the world' comes in. They use the EU Standard rather than the star system. I must agree it isn't too clear though, until I looked on their site I didn't know that a circle around the UVA meant it met EU recommended level of protection.
