P30 pro with freebuds 3, Band 4 pro and 6 months of Disney+ £556.50 - O2 refresh

This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:

After the missing out on the money back from Huawei cash back, they are now offering freebuds free (worth about £110) and a band 4 pro (worth about £50) and the usual 6 months of disney + (£30)

Usual applies to refresh contracts, this is with £30 upfront, total cost of handset is £556.50

Obviously not as cheap as it has been before (and if you are not after the freebies can be got for cheaper elsewhere) but not a bad price for all things considered

I wholeheartedly agree yes. Camera is immense.

I saw this earlier, and while it is a good deal with the goodies, this is pretty expensive for the phone now imo.

Just my opinion, I've added heat as it is still worth a buy if you can be bothered to sell the bits and bobs.

Just as an FYI, the p30 has the FreeBuds 3 free, and that is £380 on o2 refresh.

Obviously not as sweet as the mega cheap p30 pro you posted :), but if you can be bothered to sell the extras, £400 aint a bad price for the amount of phone you are getting (although debatable ethically if anyone should be selling the extras in the current climate!)
And thanks for the heat

Definitely yeah! You may want to add this is an o2 refresh deal in the title mate

You're looking at PAYG and not refresh price.
I'm waiting for this phone to drop back down the low price we saw in December on o2 refresh. Here's hoping...

That's exactly what I'm hoping for haha
I'm looking for a P30 Pro off contract.
I missed the Huawei cashback that ended last week.
This seems like a good price. Is it possible to buy this phone at this bargain price outright amd is it unlocked?

What's the ethical debate around whether you should sell? Obviously I understand the economy is on a very uncertain keel and not looking to give anyone any grief but I don't understand what would/could be unethical selling the extras? Heat added!

November you mean? hotukdeals.com/dea…695
The December one was £100 more: hotukdeals.com/dea…148
At this point in time though, anyone after this phone will take December's & chew-off all O2's limbs!
aye - november, its all a blur now. Still, youre right - decembers was still tasty!

Getting the things posted 😁
I know delivery services are still covering everything, and will still be delivering essential items with a load of non essentials but still causing more potential interaction

Still hasn't stopped me purchasing some bargain vinyls but even still, semi feel guilty about it, just not enough to stop buying!
How is video recording on this phone? I know it's a photo taking master but I can't find much information around the video side of things.

Thank you very much for responding to that. Hadn't thought about the delivery argument but it's a really good point
Great offer!

It's good. No 60fps in 4k mode which is somewhat disappointing.
I have the p30 Pro. Camera is massively overrated IMHO. Had a pixel 2xl before that ,and it takes consistently better pics in all lighting conditions. I thought the p30 Pro would be a big upgrade in terms of battery, screen, camera, etc. Kinda wish I hadn't bothered!

I’ve got the P30 now. Had the P30 Pro pro from launch until the start of this year. I actually think the P30 takes better photos. It has the same sensor as the Pro but for some reason it doesn’t give portraits the same yellowish tint as the Pro did.

I also find 3X zoom far more useful than 5X for people shots. I guess it depends what you’re doing though. Add to this that the battery life is pretty much on par, it has a flat screen (better for screen protectors) and a headphone jack. It’s also more pocketable.

The only real downside is no Qi.

I’m inclined to agree, having owned the Pixel 3. Once I see a good deal on a Pixel 4 I’ll swap my Huawei for it.

My 2 phones are the mate 20 pro and the P30 pro, tbh I got the P30 pro coz ima girl and I love the breathing crystal back 🙈 but my pictures are sharper, have more of a premium look to them, the colours just pop better and look most of the time like I used a higher end camera perhaps. Phone can be used as a wireless charger which my kids love. Hubby has the P30 and it's louder. That's the only thing I'm jealous of. But I don't hear very well. Mr Switch got me hooked on Huawei phones. I don't buy anything else now.

I liked the P30 Pro too but I do prefer the smaller model. I can use a proper glass screen protector, I use the headphone jack at night and I legitimately prefer the camera setup on the P30. I barely used the telephoto on the Pro because I don’t really take any landscape photos.

I think the standard P30 is struck with the ‘dirty’ brush because it isn’t considered the ‘best’, but aside from the lack of wireless charging it’s a very comparable portable version.

I have a proper screen protector wet set ones seem to be the better ones from experience. I don't use all of the features I imagine, and I'd love to know how to get the best from it, but I dont think I'd go back to Samsung now. I do wanna know what the new phones are like from huawei though. My hubby is really happy with his phone though, he was reluctant to change but I can't see him going back either. Not when it's me who does the phone buying here anyway

I had a wet apply one too - they’re kind of my default for curved screens. They’re not as satisfying as a glass one though. I don’t like where Huawei are going with curved screens though, as it seems to be getting more and more ridiculous with each iteration.

To be honest I’ve pretty much lost interest in phones over the past few weeks anyway I can’t see why anyone really cares all that much about getting a new phone, as you can’t really take advantage of better battery life or an iteratively better camera system while you’re stuck indoors panicking about toilet rolls

I think it's just hope. Tbh I made my peace with losing freedom when I ended up needing a wheelchair, it's weird. All the people who told me to look on the brightside and how worse off I could be are the ones finding it really tough.

I don't change my phones very often. Went from an s8 when they were new out to the mate and this one. Don't expect to change phones for another few years as I prefer to buy outright now. I'd buy another p30 pro as a backup if the price was right though.

Keep an eye out for a P30 - I got mine for £160 not long after selling my S10+. It’s dual SIM, unlocked. It kind of points to the smaller model not being as popular but it’s kind of a bit unfair in some ways.

The weird thing about the P30 is that it doesn’t rebrand when you put certain network SIMs in: my P30 Pro would end up downloading a customised software upgrade from Vodafone or EE and patching it over the top.

no it is still there

you need to click 'see our plans' then scroll down and choose an option under 'pay for your device in full' £556.50 + monthly rolling airtime contract

but when you received the handset/sim card, call up and cancel the sim card only within 14 days (cooling off period)
Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't this £539.02 if you choose a custom plan, pay £520 up front and choose the 1GB plan?

total device cost = £556.72
