Looks way smaller than 1/4 size, unless the lady is exceptionally small
I want to like these but just too small - and I wouldn’t say quarter size. Good discount though
I know I might sound bitter, but I honestly don't see the point.

I would say go for the actual arcade cabin original if you love this game so much, then if not, get a emulator one for 1000's of games and more modern, and then play it on a console.....

Any of those before buying this.

There’s a space invaders one coming in November!

Although, yes, it's all to scale and looks exactly like the 1980 original (so glad my local arcade has one, can't wait to play again when I can), but I just think it's still a bit too much to pay for one single game.
The blurb i copied says 1/4 but that should actually be 1:4 scale. Size wise you could stack 4 wide x 4 high x 4 deep which you used to be able to do in the warehouse and bowl a PlayStation Classic at them.

Think of it more as decor, a showpiece, but a functional one.
I don't think anyone would buy this as a long-term investment to fuel their Pac-Man obsession. (Well, apart from a small percentage of an already niche market)

But it'd look good in a game room, etc as artwork.
The one in my arcade was like a coffee table, not a stand up game. Anyone relate

Yeah, the local Chinese back in the day has the sit down coffee table type.
Waste of money
I’d actually be tempted by a half size or full size cabinet of invaders, double dragon or some of these - shame no-one is knocking them out rather than these titchy things. Actually is appears your can get an almost 5ft cab and matching riser for just under £400. Interesting. Might do this for the office

Thanks op ordered. I have the even smaller version by myarcade, but I like this has a 2 player feature and is a third off RRP
If only they did an outrun version of this...
This is most likely reduced in price because the 40th anniversary version of this is due out next month.

It's scale 1:4, not 1/4 of the size.

The actual one would be 64x larger in terms of total volume (I think).

Its been a while since i did maths at school but im sure 1/4 scale would mean the smaller object would be 4 times smaller be it in size or volmue as the dimensions will affect the volume relatively anyway. The Scale being relative to the original object which in this case is a full sized pac man machine

I may be remembering incorrectly but same applies when mixing cement etc with 1:4 or 1:5 ratio......4 or 5 bags sand to 1 cement

Therefore it would stand to reason 4 of these 'should' equal 1 original sized according to their description.

I may be incorrect but that's how i interpreted it
I'd pay £100 for the track and field one.

Pendantics. 1:4 is the scale factor ratio and so references length. The full size cabinet is roughly 70" X 33" X 25" so it is a quarter of each dimension. In terms of volume it's 1/64 (4*4*4). Your bags of cement analogy is just a ratio, not scale factor ratio.

Don't you mean tall not small? If she was tall then it would look smaller and vise versa?

No because if she was bigger then the machine would in fact be smaller, if shes smaller the machine looks bigger....

So if you want to make it appear bigger than it is it stands to reason you would use a smaller person to make it look bigget than it is.....

I reread your original post and makes sense to me now

4 of these would not equal one full size machine. You would need 64 of them.

4 mini machines high by 4 wide by 4 deep.

Each of the dimensions (height, width, depth) is 1/4 of the original machine.
it would be great if you could put other roms it.
As first threads go that was an epic wait @darklands
Great spot and heated
