1) No.
2) There's no danger of breathing in xs co2.
Almost any mask does some good "for the purpose intended" which is to help prevent the spread of droplets/moisture from your mouth to others...

Been through so many of these so called "one size fits all" masks, only to find they almost pull your ears off if you're an average sized fella, like me.

"Air layer Stretch fabric: 95% Polyester and 5% spandex"

Single layer?
Personally I find these masks uncomfortably hot and very steamy on the glasses.

These don't offer any real protection.
Type ll R Surgical masks or P2/3 masks.

The op masks fulfill the need of having to wear a face covering.

Probably not but I'd imagine neither are 99% of the masks you see people wearing. If you just need some to do some shopping and stop yourself spending the night behind bars in this mad world, im sure they're fine

Complete was of time and money unless you have been face fit tested for your mask.
Why are there not many funny face masks out there, I mean perfect opportunity to add a few £ on top for a print. Goofy teeth, silence of the lambs, horror type would be great. Just saying

There are. Normal people aren’t walking down the street wearing them though

Yes confirmed by at least 20 Facebook experts!
The primary purpose of the general public wearing a mask is to stop the spread of the infection via droplets, not to provide protection for the wearer by filtering the air.

It does not affect your CO2 or O2 level whatsoever
Great find. Live saving mask. Cant go wrong. Recommend wearing two at the time.

I got some similar to this deal from eBay and I don't find them that uncomfortable with regards to the ears, sure they do pull a little bit but it's not that bad. Guess I just got lucky

The reuseable masks are the worst.I end up with monkey ears
Have found you can stretch the elastic better just after you've washed a mask.
It eases the ear pain a bit the next time your wear it

Be warned. Unless you have a pea sized head they're extremely small.
I bought similar mask, but it failed the candle test.

You're right where the purpose of a mask is to protect the wearer. As other posters have noted, these masks are intended to protect others from the wearer in case s/he is carrying the virus.

Properly fit-tested respiratory protection is unlikely to be necessary for most people.
Wearing something is better than wearing nothing to control the spread. It is to control what the mask wearer emits, not what they breathe in.

The free Hype (or JustHype?) one I got through HUKD is OK for my big head. Others not so much. I favour bandanas.

Nonsense. Old video. Science changed and so did his opinion (though common sense then as now would say something is better than nothing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

The virus can enter through the eyes so wearing a surgical mask is utterly pointless. Unless you're strutting into sainsbury's in a full face respirator then there's going to be some element of risk. Lots of ffp2/3 mask experts about these days

You are missing the entire point of why you should wear a mask. They’re to protect others from the wearer, not the wearer from the virus.

Unless he rubs it on you... also a sneeze of cough can come out the side of masks and leave a cloud which you can then walk in to... pee leaves stink clouds which would also do the same.

Overall masks have not really helped due to this. You need full lock down suits to be fully protected.

Read the comment. I was responding to a comment that suggested these masks were "not effective". Neither is a surgical mask. I'm not missing the point, I'm fully aware that something is better than nothing.

I’m only quoting the facts from official peer reviewed studies, just following science.

Your choice to disagree, of course. By the way, one exclamation mark is enough, typically
These are awful. Such cheap thin material, mine snapped 2nd time putting on
seller has quite a few negative feedback and sorry but is your health and that of others not worth buying something proper...

Lucky, I never received mine
Whether or not they are effective they are mandatory to go shopping now. I have ordered these sorts of masks online from eBay and they are exactly the same as the ones for sale in Poundland and B&M. If everybody wore one then it would help even just a little.

If someone knows where we can purchase high protection masks please let me know I would like to get one.

You're spreading dangerous misinformation. Numerous studies have shown that any kind of face covering (varying on a scale of effectiveness with different materials and construction) can offer some reduction of the spread of droplets.

That's why they've been endorsed by medical bodies the world over.
