The green, triple pack version of the 42 litre flexi tub is now in stock.

This seems a very good price for a pack of three 42 litre flexi tubs from Tesco Direct. They are usually £3.00 or £4.00 each.
They have a whole multitude of uses inside or outside of the home.

You're welcome.

Hot tubs for £8!

They're 7.99, every penny counts.

They're made of polypropylene so going to use them to grow some plants in, just need to drill a few holes in the bottom.

You're welcome.

My other half couldn't think of a use for them but strangely all three have now disappeared.

I have seen them selling this 3 for £8 for a couple of months now. Also Asda were doing it like for £2 each so I don't see how this a deal. I have the tub and I think 42L is too small especially for gardening.

It is quite often out of stock with Tescos at 3 for £8.00 and the green ones have only just come back in but not any other tubs. As posted on other threads, the Asda one's at £2.00 were very hit and miss as to whether you could find them but good luck and well done to the one's that could.

As to whether 42 litres is too small for gardening is very much down to however they are used. You may only have small vacant areas to be able to put them between flowers when gardening, you wouldn't want to be carrying soil laden plants in a huge container. Also apart from gardening there are many other uses for these flexi tubs where I think this size is quite adequate.

Cheers ordered

With suitable drainage there is no reason not to grow potatoes in these, could also go for long carrots & leaks.
Generally good for general garden weeding, clearing, sorting etc.
Temporary storage for fish whilst giving a fish pond a good clean out.
Make a small bog garden by sinkling it in to the ground.

Great price! I was going to buy a few at £2.99 each in Home Bargains but this is a much better deal.

Many thanks. Seems I need to buy more to try all these as you suggested!
