There are much better ones … There are much better ones athttp://www.saveonlaptops.co.uk/Products/cat/Laptops

no there isnt? for £350 they are slightly less specd

sorry, but don't rate this as it has onboard graphics card which I have personally found to be a pain even when playing a very simple game. Thanks for posting though, it may suit some folk.

Like people that use a laptop for something other than games!

Packard Bell make the worst quality computers money can buy. They last about two years then the motherboards burn out/cases break/screens go - If you do think you are getting a good deal you MUST get the extended warranty or you will get stung. (I worked for the warranty company)

I'd get something like a Lenovo SL510.. better build for similar money or the Lenovo Edge 15.

Can anyone please give info about this one. CLICK. Thanks.

Seems to be around the right price for this spec seems a good deal - Usually difficult to find stock on these heavily reduced deals at Argos. But there is one sitting in my local store so you may get lucky. - Sony look great but 700 could but this spec plus a better graphics card with most other makers.

Thanks for the reply.
There is a Toshiba for £30 less without blu(e)ray and 3gb but has 2.53Ghz i5 and a step down on gfx card.

Don;t do it... i bought it at 799 a while back and returned it shortly after. The bluray players dont work. They supply Corel to play the bluray discs, and there is a compatibility fault. It makes the picture so dark you cant see the film, and the sound so quiet you can't hear it! We tried various discs on several machines inside PC world, and they were all the same. Stay away from Vaios with blurays. We phoned Sony in store, and they confirmed that there was a fault with the corel software... but were not willing to supply any others!

Thanks also.

This is surreal. Two posts for the exact same laptop. The post with the lower cost has 9 degrees of heat while the more recent one with a higher cost gets over 200 degrees? What gives?
