yep... after all these years I should know better

Don't think its that good. First there is only ONE to be sold. Its refurbish. DDR2 ram(which is expensive if you are thinking of upgrading it. And it say GPU's got 1GB DDR2(what the hell?)

Seems whoever posted all the deals on Curry's,pcw Ebay site today, can't be arsed to put any info on most the items listed there today.
Who the hell is going to buy something with no info or information
on what they are trying to sell?
Numpties award of the day for that person

I actually bought this about 18 months ago for 599 from currys. it's still going strong, all I added was an ati hd 4770 512mb ddr5 as the one it comes with is crap. can play all of the latest games with full settings.

a 4770 and latest games at full settings?? smells like bull to me.

well crysis 2 and f1 2011 are both running great. it's actually an excellent graphics card for it's price range. maybe you should do some research.

How does this processor stack up to the newer i5 etc?

cheers have some heat op

Yeah maybe so but at what resolution? there is no way a 4770 will run Crysis 2 @ full on much above 1024 x 768. Certainly won't play at 1080....

Have to say this sounds expensive for a refurb which uses a 3 generation old CPU and has a pants GPU....The processors new are only £75,

1680x1050 on both games on a 22 inch monitor

Wow, that make it an impressive card, My old 4890 1gb sturggled @ 1080 with the newer games, so much so that i upgraded to a 6950 2gb. Now its all smooth!

no it aint a good card, the 4890 is better than it. this guy just doesn't know what he is talking about my 9800 gtx + was as quick as a 1770 and i upgraded from that 3 years ago. guys a pleb.
