Just noticed this on Amazon and seems like a really good price.
Amazon are showing £100 off. I have looked at the models and for the price I can't see a better spec around.

is Turian better than Turion?

The AMD Turion M500 is slower than an Intel Celeron T3300 cpu so not a great deal when you can get a Core i3 laptop for this money.

Sorry Turion!! Spelling error...

In regard to Celeron processor this is far better and with the shared Radeon HD4200 graphics card this is a much better spec for processing graphics for example

cooooold.

The processor is about the same as a Celeron T3100 and the graphics are just onboard rather than a standalone card. These are a bit better than Intels onboard graphics but probably not a huge difference with Intels latest offerings.

No the HD 4200 is about the same on graphics benchmarks as the Core i3 GMA HD and the cpu is much much quicker so you would be better off with the Core i3 laptop.

If you can find a Core i3 with 4GB RAM and 500GB HDD at this price, then please let this site know, I guess that is the point. If you just want to inform everyone what is best then why stop at i3? why not go all the way with a triple Xeon whizz bang Global war games, 100000 terrabyte of RAM and Triple infinium hard disk drive.....that is about as much use.
