“… It’s passed on! This parrot is no more! It has ceased to be! It’s expired and gone to meet it’s maker! This is a late parrot! It’s a stiff! Bereft of life, it rests in peace! If you hadn’t nailed it to the perch, it would be pushing up the daisies! It’s rung down the curtain and joined the choir invisible. This is an ex-parrot!”
Don’t they already offer 10 days free trial?

What’s the point offering free weekend while I can sign up for the 10 days and access everything

Not quite the same thing, etc though, is it?.

Eg. You log yourself in for Amazon Student Prime, after your 6 Month's 'window' has expired, can you log in another 6 Month's for free again?.

The normal 1 Month Amazon Prime Trail, after you've logged in that freebie too, are you also/normally able to pull off another 1 Month free trail of it at your wim?, or ...

You can however bounce each seamlessly together though - as in one after the other (and/or visa-versa?), but only once a piece, per Amazon account, etc etc, right?.

Pretty much giving you a 7 Month's/almost 1 Year free ride, right? (literally, lol).

So in a similar vain, I'm doubtful that Packt will give you much 'leeway of freebies', once your initial 10 Day's freebie window has expired, or whatever? (I'm assuming), lol.

So in a similar vain to my above aforementioned Amazon 'examples', why'd you pass up the chance via Packt to literally hammer out BOTH? (unless I'm missing something?).

Get your freebie Weekend in (afterall Weekend is exactly that), then from Monday Week going then also ...

Needless to say, that in itself will give you a clear continual run of almost 2 Week's for free straight?!. :-)

So why not?.

After all, who's to say what, when and where the next time will come when Packt decide to palm us all off with these sorts of Weekend exclusive freebies, etc?.

So their Weekend is sound in my book. :-)

The only argument left now however is this, would it be something of use to you though? (as such thing's like these are obviously not of need/interest to everyone, or whatever? - and no milign meaning intended).

I'll try to dip into this over this Weekend myself - if/where possible for me to do so, etc (here's hoping).

After all, who knows ... :-)
Can someone guide please how to get the free weekend access? I can't see a word about it on the website.

Monty...

I'm assuming as in a sketch from Monty Python or something?, or ... lol.
It is good if you have plenty of free time, as you have to read/view the content on their website. Certainly a good opportunity to have a closer look as something you are interested in buying. I tried their GDPR videos and I'm glad because they are so bad that I realised they are not worth buying, but there is plenty of good stuff there as well.
I still would recommend the free "Automate boring stuff" over any other book out there. I only skimmed through it after reading lots of other books and regret not having started with it.
