A price to pay for hipster coffee.

A price to pay for hipster coffee.

No such thing. There are coffee hipsters, sure, but not hipster coffee. There is only good coffee, meh coffee and bad coffee. I don't know where Pact fit in these days, but this isn't a good deal; £40 for not even half a kilo of stale coffee.

I mean the price is extortionate but people pride hardly doing anything to get a product vs price.

I see anything like this and tag it under hipster.
Pact do some CE coffee but £40 for under half a kilo is crazy. Much better to buy a selection of coffee beans, a grinder and a cafetier or aeropress for about the same amount of money.
I'm pretty sure the same applies to all 'niche' advent calendars. You could just buy a nice bottle of gin rather than an expensive gin advent calendar. The price comes with the packaging and variety.
