Spilt mine into three separate bets, two wild bet builders and a "sensible-ish" double on cards:

Hot, but on all the time now...

Hot, BUT on all the time now? Does the BUT make it colder?

Paddy Power are giving away £20 worth of bets this weekend and early next week. That makes it hotter to me.

And then the fact that more bookmakers are likely to join in with the horse racing next week. It doesn't make it colder, if it increases the chances of converting the bets, or increasing the funding of a favoured bet.

Voted hot. Hot, hot, hot!

That would be living the dream. Permanent bet builders, all of the time! We could all turn professional with that deal.

I like to do similar, breaking it down into the sensible bet, and then the riskier, more specific bets.

For me, the sensible bets come in often enough, but it's the silly 50p lucky dips I sometimes do that pay off when they come in. If I think a games got goals in it, I'll do a few combinations of goal scorers and the like.

I like the look of your selections. I won't be doing 50p goal scorers on this one.

I could do with a full listing.

    So far, I have seen..

    Paddy Power 3x £5
Sky Bet £10 back as cash on a losing bet.

So there's £70 of free bets that I'm missing. I wouldn't mind scatter gunning as many free bets as I could at Cheltenham.

I get "this offer is not available to you" so no heat from me. I know why this is, it's because I used this offer a couple of times last year and won fairly big each time. I think I won around £120 then emptied it to my bank account. So PP have blacklisted me! Clearly not what the offer is for, I'm supposed to get hooked and lose it all aren't I.

My advice is to split it into £1/£2 bets then go for the longer odds bets that they list. Eg fewer than X corners, spurs to score a pen and get x yellow cards. They're a much of a punt as anything but you might as well do them as nothing to lose and good gain if they come in

I don't like to empty my account after a big win. I always keep a bit back. I will take the bulk of it, because I don't want to blow it. But I appreciate that if they see an account without any cash bets, they're more likely to withdraw the free bets.

    No problem.

It's always a good option to have.

One thing I would say is don't split it as something like..

    £1.50 home win / over 0.5 goals
    £1.50 away win / over 0.5 goals
    £2 draw / over 0.5 goals

As with a bet like that you're covering most outcomes, and they don't like that.

    Haha. That's inevitable.

It was just an example that if you split your bet to cover most outcomes. 0-0 wouldn't pay out, but if you bet that way with a free bet, PP may well withhold the winnings on any other scoreline, so it's a moot point.

A strategically safe payout, becomes a guaranteed loss and potentially the loss of future free bets, so the ultimate loss.

I barely bet these days but didn't empty the account. Still blacklisted. Not a a surprise when I won pretty big twice in a row without putting any cash in. Gambling promotions are morally dubious in my view, the free bets are designed to get you to have the feel of winning with a view to sucking you in.
