I've just ordered a 5 port Automatic HDMI switch which allows you to connect 4 extra HDMI devices to your HD TV. It comes to £27.57 when selecting Royal Mail super saver (no more waiting in for City link!!!). 3-port is £22.57 delivered on super saver or 3-port Belkin Pure AV with remote is £40.57 delivered on super saver if you want something better looking.!

Many HD Ready Plasma and LCD TVs only have one or two High-Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI) input connections. HDMI is however also used on high-definition components, up-converting DVD players, HD cable/satellite boxes, entertainment computers, games consoles (Playstation 3 / Xbox 360 Elite), & Blu-ray / HD-DVD players. The problem therefore caused is that all of these devices each have an HDMI output and the HDTV has only one, or possibly two, HDMI inputs.

The 1080p HD Junction mini switcher lets you connect multiple HD sources into one HDMI input on your HDTV. Selection of the source devices is done automatically by the HD Junction which detects and switches to the input device that is on and so no remote control is required.

It is compliant with HDMI 1.3 and HDCP and so it can handle the heavy bandwidth use of 1080p or True HD signals and HD broadcasts without any degradation in the signal to your HDTV.

The HD Junction is palm size, which allows you to tuck it away neatly behind your other HD devices and forget about it!

Just simply connect all your high definition devices to your HDTV with the HD Junction, sit back, relax and just enjoy the1080p True HD experience!

Signal enhancement to stop signal degradation over cable distances up to 15m
Compact size Only 5 x 11cm
Supports output resolutions: 480p, 720p, 1080i and 1080p.
Compliant to HDMI 1.3 and HDCP.
5v DC Power supply (Optional)

Just out of curiosity, why the cold vote? This seems like a good product, is there a better one out there..

At a guess, it is because there is no remote but you don't need one for this product because it autosenses the last device you switch on.

This looks great and one less remote is a bonus..

Yup, just the sort of thing I was looking for, too.

Only 5 left unless they order more!!

Hi, i have a question regarding the 3 port version of this device.
Am i able to connect 3 hdmi sources to a 3 port version..or is 1 of the ports for output making it only 2 ports?

Cheers, Roo

I should get my 5 port one monday/Tuesday so I'll have a look then. The Belkin and the Plexus ones have an uplink port for the TV (so 4 ports rather than 3) so I assume this must be the same. Maybe someone can comment that has recieved theirs?

Did anyone get one? None in stock, but would still like to know how it performed....

Thanks!

I bought two the other week, now need another but they are out of stock. Very impressed though with the two I have.

eBuyer have emailed me and said they won't be stocking these anymore. A real shame as they are excellent devices.

eBuyer currently have 69 in stock. I'm on my second one as the first was DOA and even with a 5v 2A ac adapter it will not auto switch for me. I have to admit it looks great being so small but it won't work with my Pioneer 435XDE Plasma. Manual switching does however work 100%.

It works fine on my Samsung LCD but not on my Sony Bravia. I'll try using an adaptor with the Bravia, thanks.
