Found in the Dunstable store, but told Nationwide instore as priced to clear stock (so availability will vary, although they had plenty), a bargain at only £29.99 a pair. These are similar to Kentucky style chairs with spindle backs, and ideal for use with the various padded seat cushions they also sell, we went with the Poppy style.

I wish I'd found these sooner, as I'd bought some for £50 from a BHF store, which I then had to strip, and paint, look great, but in the end with all the effort and paint, would have worked out the same or cheaper to get these ...still it helps the Charity!

Anyway, here's some details...

Part assembly required
Brand Dunelm
Care instructions Wipe clean with a soft cloth
Colours available Pink, Blue or White
Material Rubberwood
Pack size Two chairs
Sizes available One size available in Dia. 50cm (20") x H 89cm (35")

This is an instore deal, which means they are more expensive at £41.99 online.

Well, I did try one out in store, and being a 6'4" bloke I thought they were fine, I certainly didn't feel in danger of collapsing on the floor, so a staff member had obviously assembled correctly.

You should get someone to check their pricing, as it shouldn't be higher than their previous reduction (online price) of £41.99 no matter what, and this price of £29.99 is supposed to be nationwide.

Good Luck!

Only had white and are £41.99 at my local

Do not buy these chairs. 3 out of 4 that I bought in March have collapsed. Very badly made, wobbly and potentially dangerous.

Shame to hear that, but probably an isolated problem / batch, as 2 friends I'd mentioned this deal to, still have theirs chairs in one piece, thankfully.
I don't like to mention this, but I've come it across myself being 6'4" , but most chairs like this have weight restrictions.I bought a folding beach / camping chair once, only to collapse into the sand, very funny, anyway I was about 20kg over it's max weight! :-(.I'm not wishing to imply anything, but mention it, as perhaps it's something you hadn't realised, as these are obviously dowelled and glued, so probably easy to fix anyway.
