Love these tyres. I got 5,000 miles out of my last Gatorskin rear tyre. The front is still going strong at over 6,500 miles. They're light enough to leave on your bike all year round.

Good find, OP.

Cracking find. Might grab a pair for the winter.

Just checked and the price is wrong.

You can get 25c for the same individual price but the bundle deal doesn't seem to be available.

these are awesome

must try some of these, getting fed up with cheap crap Kenda tyres

really good price - just reserved

Ordered, was looking at getting a pair of these a couple of weeks ago. Thanks, Hot!

Thanks OP, reserved... although I don't have a bike yet. Now I just need to find a Red btwin Triban 3...

Going to try these on my TT bike - fed up of pinch flats with my Ultremo ZXs... Really happy with the Conti's on my MTB, hope these are as good!

Had these since December last year and they are fantastic. I used to get punctures every 4-6 weeks now i've not had one.

Just reserved a pair, hopefully they are better than my Schwalbe Lugano tyres

Go round a corner too quick on any tyre and you will come off..

New to cycling, purchased a Carrera Zelos a couple of weeks ago, with Kenda tyres on.

Would these make a significant difference? Also looking for a new set of pedals if anyone can recommend!

That is true of all tyres. You need to know your limits.

Don't forget if you use your British Cycling discount, you can save another 10% on this (obviously you need to be a member)

You could never go round a corner in wet conditions on these tyres and you will still die!

You have also been warned!

dry cornering does not ensure immortality

If anyone one here is selling a road bike please contact me. i've got a budget of around £200.

£17.74 is the price of one without VAT, I suspect you are on a business site, or are looking at excluding VAT prices.

£21.29 + £21.29 = £42.58

Good Luck finding one - few & far between now....

just adding my 2p on these tyres, durability, puncture resistance can vary wildly depending on what kind of roads you ride, pressure you inflate to, your body weight and your commute weight if your bike is laden

...the one thing that's not subjective is that these tyres have weak sidewalls, in my experience the puncture resistance was actually poorer than standard issure tyres as I endured almost a puncture a week on a 100mile a week commute. it 'seems' whatever compound is supposed to make this puncture resistant almost has the reverse effect of gluing up sharp debris off the road, it picks up everything and everntually they work their way through to pop the inner tube. also the cross hatch threading going on the sidewall appears to be a weakness if anything, it frays right up like fabric ???

I'd barely started googling gatorskin sidewall when the autocomplete popped up blowout, failure, I've been a regular commuter in london for the last 9 years solid and from basic michelin to higher end schwalbes I''ve never had sidewall issues except with gatorskins, some have worn easily, some pick up shards easily, others handle poorly in the wet but this was a first for me

I obviously can't recommend

conversly I'm rolling with a low end michelin dynamic at probably a third cheaper and i've had 2 punctures this year one of which was from bumping the rim on a kerb so nothing to do with the tyre, very low tendency to pick up sharp bits, handles better in the wet and thread and sidewall still looks solid it's brilliant
