Look good with Hue lights??

That is an excellent shout. You may have tempted me into these.

They use E14 bulbs though, not entirely sure what it looks like in real-life with the hue.
Even in the retail photos they don't match: imagine what the ones you get will be like.

I see the difference. You wouldn't expect a natural product like wood to be uniform though, would you?
Pretty good for any “Lamp Lovers” out there.

You'd expect them to be better matched - for the photos at least. These appear to be just two random lumps of rubberwood from their pile. I guess you could always return them and get another pair if you receive a particularly bad set but worth noting.

The picture with a matched pair looks like the same one duplicated - sneaky!
I also want to know what they look like with Hue?
Cheap
Light Wood Finish? So basically cheap plastic or similar

Nasty at any price

I bought these before they were posted on here

I like them
By coincidence I bought these yesterday, and I'm taking them back today.
The wood looks nothing like the pine-finish in the picture at the top. It's just cheap balsa-like wood, without any kind of varnish or finish. The wood blocks are also incredibly light, so much that I'd imagine if you were to grab the cord to switch it on, the whole lamp would shift about. Its also near impossible to get the shade to sit level with block, so it just looks wonky and uneven.

Maybe I got a bad set, but for the price I guess it makes sense. I'm on the lookout for lamps in this kind of style without paying a fortune, but these ones were simply too cheap and inferior. The search continues.
