Palace Fenceguard 5ltrs for only £2.00.

Doesn't seem to be a local only offer as I asked the staff and they said it wasn't, so you should be able to find it in any Poundland, but its not available online.

This is £10.95 on Amazon.

All that effort of painting fences and find out it doesn't last rather spend £3 more and get a brand think Ronseal was on here for a fiver the other day.
This any good for garage MDF shelves to prevent mold?

Ronseal one coat is rank lol. It was that bad they had to bring out ronseal plus . A decent one is from Toolstation and it has wax in it so it actually repels water but like cuprinol .

Any thoughts on a not too expensive alternative for the shelves?

My mate used this on his fence and the dogs p!shed it back off, if it's cheap you're looking for Spear and Jackson's is not too bad @£3 from B&M
Ffs seriously.

If you buy this thinking you're getting a good deal you need your head examined.

Absolute eejit.

Are you basing that in experience, or just because it's cheap? I could only find two reviews on Amazon, 1 saying it was great and one saying it was ok, at over 10 quid for 5 litres. Can you substantiate your claim as I think 2 quid is actually a pretty good deal.

I've not used it mate but come on. It's £2.

The tried and tested brands that sell millions of litres a year of this stuff is literally a couple of quid more. You do this type of work once a year at the absolute most.

Why would you even take the chance on this crap that is being sold in the pound shop?

It's penny-pinching gone completely mad, this.

You can find it in other garden suppliers, on amazon and on eBay for a higher price if you think paying the same price as other fence paint manufacturers makes it a better product. If you haven't used it, then please don't just knock a deal because its a cheap. The whole purpose of this site is to find good deals.
