sorted byFor a few weeks/months it cost £25 on Switch, I guess this is a heads up it’s now free.
It is indeed, its been out for the switch a little while but you could only purchase the founders pack and now that they have released the free version.
Thanks for posting ?
No one knows. Nintendo did say that devs can opt out and have their games have free online and since Fortnite doesn't need a PS Plus sub I'd say maybe.
Oh fair enough didn’t realise they were charging for it on switch, cheap over watch rip off anyway but worth playing if it’s free, gave it a go couldn’t get into it
Atleast they ported the game instead of giving a lame excuse
Didn't know that, so seeing as that's the case on PS I'd imagine it's likely but we'll have to see I guess! (edited)
According to this article, no
google.co.uk/amp…mp/
"Take note that while Paladins online multiplayer will initially be freely accessible on the Nintendo Switch at first, players will have to subscribe to the premium Nintendo Online Service when it launches in September."
If only it was a cheap overwatch rip off.
Its actually just as good if not better and free to play.
Overwatch was only made to recover developers losses on their failed game titan.
Though both games have there fun factors.

See it how you like everyone has there own opinion anyway..
Titan failed and it did.. so check your facts
Damn. I assumed incorrectly.
I searched and found this online:
Greetings,
We are very sorry but it is not possible to transfer or copy any account content or player progress from one platform to another.
Linking accounts will only unlock the console exclusive skins associated with each console.
If you wish to play Paladins on Pc you will have to download the PC client and create a PC player account.
Please note that Nintendo and PC profiles aren't linked.
We apologize for any inconvenience that this may have caused.
If you need any further assistance from customer support please let us know.
Thank you for contacting Hi-Rez Studios Customer Support
And after further searching, it's an impossible dream:
hirezstudios.force.com/sup…FAQ
It is no longer possible to transfer, merge or otherwise copy an account from PC to PS4 or Xbox. This function was officially ended on July 15th of 2017. There are currently no plans to re-enable this function. There are no exceptions able to be made to extend this process for any player.
I assume the above also applies to the Switch version. (edited)
Also just found this: From the AMA session on Reddit:

(26 July 2018)
As of right now, all I can say is that we're still working with Nintendo on this. There's a non-trivial technical arc of work to allow linking Nintendo Accounts to Hi-Rez Accounts, which is the first step in allowing some form of account copy/merge/move process between platforms.
Once we cross that milestone, we will continue to work with our counterparts at Nintendo to find a solution that will hopefully allow players some form of access to previously purchased on some other platforms. I apologize for how vague this statement is, but this is an issue that involves an agreement between several different parties, and those are always difficult to come to.
Generally speaking, as a company, we support the idea of users being able to access their purchased content wherever they may be. The realities of supporting that technically and getting sign-off from providers on an exact implementation are quite difficult, however.
Think they covered it in the link. Will need the online service
Yeah cause i looked at it and it said free to play in description and was confused cause says 25 quid...can give this a go now
Sorry if I am being ignorant, but what does TFP mean? (edited)
Which was a total joke as always for switch owners
Someone may correct me here, but I believe XBL Gold is required (at least with Fortnite), so it's a bit of a mixed bag on it. (edited)
Realm Royale is similar to Fortnite, also free to play
Yeah it’s definitely not better lol, that’s definitely not the reason Overwatch was made if it’s was please link proof.
And yeah both games do have fun factors, Overwatch just seems more competitive to me
Overwatch went gold and was finished in May 2016
Paladins went into open Beta September 2016
Wikipedia?
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Titan_(Blizzard_Entertainment_project)
And the funny thing is i prefered the none competitive modes on ow but prefered the competitive modes on paladins. maybe its just each to there own but its annoying when people refer to it as a copy when some characters were made for paladins before their overwatch seemalikeys .
To me there different games. (edited)
Looking for the bit where it says they only made it to recover losses?
Game failed, reusued the old game, made overwatch .. (edited)
The game didn’t fail it was cancelled in 2014, they then reused the assets to create Overwatch, if they didn’t come up with Overwatch the team would have been disbanded to other projects.
The game was not made to recover losses as they were pretty much willing to abandon it
