Excellent deal, love the primitivo with some pasta and garlic bread. Heat added. Get em' while they're available.

Nice full bodied wine, not worth the £8.99 tag but excellent at this price.

fab saving

They must be bloomin teatootalers.....don't worry more for us.

And the 3l box of the white is reduced a £10er too to £19.99

£8.99 each my ar*e. Only worth £3 to £4 a bottle. This will be another of the supermarket double the price then halve it 'offers'...

got some yesterday, great stuff...why didn't i post

just saw pinot and it made me think of the film sideways, such a class film!

I know what you mean, but in fairness, they are selling another grape varietal next to it for the same price, think it's a Sangiovese.

I've had three bottles of it, and would say it's worth around 5-6 quid - so it's a good deal.

This one seems a good deal and voted hot. However, the £8 bottles that supermarkets include in the 3 for £10/£12 offers are often pretty cr*p and are only ever worth £4-5 each. Some of them are really awful and often the reds will taste like watered down sherry and will give you a nice headache the day after. I am not a wine snob, in fact I never spend more than a fiver a bottle but I do know where to find decent supermarket wine at cheap prices.

Try some of the Waitrose own brand cheapie wines, they are genuinely decent bottles of plonk and you can get them for £3.99 - £4.50 each making them the same price per bottle or only slightly more than the Asda/Tesco 3 for £12 deals. But the difference is that the wine often tastes so much nicer. The Waitrose Classic Cotes Du Rhone at £4.49 is excellent, a very nice slightly spicy medium bodied red. Try it.

this wine is very nice, Zinfandel and Primitivo are genetically identical and its rare to see them less than £5/£6 a bottle. £9 price is a marketing con (as usual).

Hot deal. Went to Telford Forge Retail Park today had them stacked in the door way, next to them was First Cape 3for£10 also.
