Good fair price atm, do expect these to drop a little more soon though, some nice ones on ebuyer/ebay hanging nice atm, so when a code drops they be in contention first,.... atm the super version of this exact card is £20 more from ccl which is a must over this one.
Went for the Super bit only cos it was 200 quid.

This is still a bargain.
The 5600 reviews are just hitting the web now for any one interested. Initial reactions seem to place it slightly higher than the 2060 KO but I’ve only watched the gamers nexus video so far.

I went with the 1660 Super. Seemed worth an extra £20.

Is there a massive difference in performance?

I'm on a 580 but really missing the small things nVidia offers over Radeon, like the taskbar moving from one monitor to the other whenever one monitor goes idle 0.0001 secs before the other
Could someone tell me the easiest as I am complete novice. But I would like to upgrade a Lenovo i7 4790 16gb ddr3 and a 750ti.
Or do I need to start again because of the old processer ?.
Thank you in advance for anyone who can spare the time to reply.

Not sure it's worth the upgrade from a 580.

I went from a GTX 960, so the leap is immense.

For performance alone probably not, but not only I'd go back to the nvidia ecosystem, I'm pretty sure I could resell my 580 to very close to what I paid for it

I'd hang on a couple of months till the Super goes to sub-200 in that case. At least 15% boost over the 1660.

Oki, thanks. I'm guessing by that time even the ... non-Super 1660 might be around the £150 range...?

Hopefully. Then you’ll be closer to Ampere and considering waiting for that to come so everything drops even further. I’ve been ‘waiting’ for about a year now, still rocking an rx470

A 4790 is still capable and appears to be similar to a Ryzen 5 2600 in gaming. All you need is a new graphics card depending on your budget for decent 1080p gaming.
You could save money and get a RX 590 with a better cooler a free game.

The super in general is massive over the normal 1660 its just shy of the TI..... (they should of killed the TI...)

worthy upgrade over the 580. indeed if u can get a nice price on selling it. and do expect the supers to drop a little, spec via the ebay code method via a 15% ebay code then CCL/Ebay links (forget ebay/ebuyer atm on the supers)

Is it a laptop?
No a desktop but not a gaming rig it's quite small. Sorry it's a H50-50. I have a Z50 laptop with the old burning hot A10.
